the Camaro

I finally found an interested person in my son's '89 Camaro Z28.

The car's been sitting here a long time waiting for someone to sink a lot of money in it's repair. We allowed use of the garage because auto repair is the field he's schooling for, and it made a good project car. It was a sweet car at one time with T-tops, but has seen beeter better days. Son's money for it's repair dried up soon after he bought a Harley.

I offered to blog about it, but son wisely advised they probably didn't want me selling things on WaukeshaNOW. I did think it was worth much more than he was asking.

Mentioned it to a few people at work Friday and immediately found someone interested. The car's been for sale for several months and I found a buyer just like that. Told him not to worry, it wasn't going anywhere. He kept saying he could have the money by next week, etc.

The very next day, Saturday, my son calls from work and tells me a buyer is on his way here to buy it... a different buyer. So he sold the car for what I thought was too low a price, but son says he's glad to get it out of here. So ends the Camaro saga.
