The deer did not survive.

Two cars hit the same deer Wednesday with predictable results. In yesterday's Freeman Police Blotter, nearly half the entries were of car vs deer collisions. It's that time of year again.

Unless the driver is on a motorcycle accidents like this are usually fatal to just the deer. My oldest did ride his cycle to school in this morning's brisk 31 degree weather. Hopefully he scraped all the frost off his faceshield to better see the deer.

Cars and deer don't have fun meet and greets.
