giving thanks for Thanksgiving
Hope everyone had at least as good a Thanksgiving as us. Enjoyed the succulent Butterball we received free from Pick 'N Save by redeeming our Turkey Perks. Family were here to share it with us. It was a good day.
If you're reading this online you're probably not homeless - one of the things to be most thankful for. In thanksgiving for a good Thanksgiving I'll be ringing and you'll be giving -- I hope. I'll be at Pick 'N Save Silvernail this morning encouraging busy shoppers to not forget the homeless on Black Friday as I ring the Salvation Army bells.
The World's Greatest Cookie Sale is 12:00 to 4:00 today, Friday, at Country Springs. A chance to support your favorite non-profit and enjoy some good treats and entertainment for the kids.
Bah! Humbug! Weekend starts now in downtown Waukesha. Gather 12 points among 22 Waukesha merchants to be entered in a raffle for fabulous prizes.
Carroll University's Christmas at Carroll is next weekend. It's a wonderful production I've written about in the past which I hope you can make. It's a much better start to the holiday season than Black Friday, and less costly too. If you haven't done it before this should be the year.
