what if you prepared a meal and no one showed up?

Waukesha Tattoo

Fortunately that wasn't the case yesterday after around 250 pounds of turkey was cooked up for a Thanksgiving meal for the needy. It was a first for D Mo's @ Clarke and word got around. At times, before I got there, all the tables were full. All the food looked good and the volunteers were happy to have such a good turnout.

Many of the diners complimented the cook and hope to return next year if it's offered again.

My friends from Waukesha Tattoo were there helping at the desert table. The slices of desert were a little on the small side, but they probably had to make sure enough was left to go around. (If I ever partake of this meal I'm coming back for seconds.)

Thanks to everyone who volunteered or donated to this great cause. Special thanks to D Mo's @ Clarke for stepping up to the plate for the community.
