Warming up to the Parade
You can't blame us for the warm temperatures along the parade route in Cambridge, WI; at least not all of it.
Was invited to drive the hot air van in Monday's parade, and loved it. It's a first for me driving in a parade, and it doesn't hurt that our entry ranks right up there with tossed candy for the kids in popularity.
WindDancer Balloon Promotions is the same company that makes appearances in Waukesha's parades. The flames got a lot more cheers in Waukesha's Christmas parade held closer to dusk, but kids young and old love it no matter when.
I didn't run over any kids running in front of us after candy, so I hope I'll be asked to do this again. Waukesha maybe?
