Serious Problems In City Hall

Water Issue

It's time for some people to butt out of our city's business. The Journal editorial staff for one. Unless one of them lives in Waukesha and signs to their opinion, worry about the city of Milwaukee and not us! I am also tired of news media flaming the fires of Larry Nelson supporters who continue to harass Mayor Scrima. Unlike many other politicians, a certain president comes to mind, Jeff Scrima ran on a platform and not platitudes. He is holding true to carrying out that platform which got him elected him to office with a large majority of the voters. The Nelson groupies continue to sound like a recording from the maternity room at the hospital.

Few people follow the news enough to know the garbage that many on the council have been playing with the citizen's overwhelming choice for mayor. If enough people know that a three person team of only non-elected people were chosen by the council to negotiate with Milwaukee for water, there'd be much more outrage. To have city administrator Luther on it, while seeming logical, it a horrible thing given that she has no roots to the city, was not elected and has made attempts to get employment elsewhere. We are to trust her to negotiate a good deal for Waukesha? Who are they kidding?

Thank you Mayor Scrima for vetoing that move. The council should uphold the veto and the Mayor must be on the negotiating team. Without him there, and here's that ever popular word, the voters of Waukesha are being DISENFRANCHISED! The people voted him to office on the water issue. To not have him on the team is unthinkable.

Let your alderman know that you demand the Mayor's veto be upheld!
