Haven't hopped down the bloggin' trail lately. Last couple weeks have been more notable for what I didn't do than what I've done.
Didn't go to State Fair or Air and Water Show in Milwaukee. Didn't attend latest Art Crawl or Friday Night Live. Didn't go to Bluesfest; haven't even been to one Badgerland Water Ski show this year. Didn't chase any balloons at the Hartford Hot Air Balloon Rally this last weekend or go to the Waukesha Old Car Club show at Frame Park . . .
Did however attend the last Civic Band Concert of the season last Thursday, an enjoyable big band concert by Jazz Express with sherbet served to all by concert sponsor Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
I've been busy. Very busy at work where I received my largest paycheck yet after 15 hours of overtime in one week. Also met the company president at our party celebrating 40 years in business for ODW Logistics.
I've also started two new blogs on Blogger.com. I wanted to have a blog almost exclusively on hot air balloon chasing so I'd have somewhere to post pictures and write without boring WaukeshaNOW readers. I call it Chasin' the Wind because the balloon I'm most involved in chasing is called WindDancer. It can be found at http://brienlee.blogspot.com/. I love all the things you can do and add on to Blogger... all for no cost.
The other blog I recently started is more like a website for the St Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk I'm involved with. For a free, easy to create website, something to share online with others to advertise, I like the way it turned out. It can be found at http://friendsofthepoorwalk.blogspot.com/
So this is a little of what I've been doing and not doing. If you'd care to share what you've been up to or will be doing, let everyone know in the comments. thanks
