GuitarTown Gala
I'll have to blog in detail later. Last night I got home from the gala after 10:00 and am starting work 2 hours early so I don't miss the Friday Night Live festivities.
Unlike most of the other GuitarTown artists Jeff Seymour had been keeping his 10 foot creation under wraps. I had no idea what to expect from him, and what I'd imagined was vastly different from what we got to finally see last night as a cold light rain fell.
I a hundred other photos, but I have to leave for work. One of the memorable moments of the evening was meeting the person who personally knew Grant Wood, Wis Guthrie.
And another fun thing I happened to see as I entered the Gibson coach after the event was over: Kirsten Lee Villegas and Tim Kasza from the Waukesha County Museum jammin' it up in the back of the bus.
Tonight between 6:00 and 9:00, downtown. See you there!
