good news of the day: Olympics are on! Great weekend weather, rain falling, gardens growing...
bad news of the day: I knew the 47 year old parent and grandmother killed two weeks ago while pushing her car on Les Paul Parkway. Also, a relative who had just turned 58 died of cancer early Saturday morning. May they rest in peace.
video of the day: Thursday's rain from the back door, uncut, unedited, and not particularly interesting. But rain is looking a lot better now than before the two month drought.
