debate and a movie

Carroll

The much-anticipated first presidential debate is tonight at 8:00 p.m.. Unfortunately, it competes with the showing of the movie 1984 at Carroll U 7:00 to 9:00. To help kick off the Waukesha Reads book selection of George Orwell's 1984, Carroll has graciously offered the Shattuck Music Center, free popcorn and lemonade.

Thanks to Google, you can watch the full-length film starring John Hurt and Richard Burton without leaving home and at a time that's convenient for you. Of course, yelling at the screen wouldn't be the same as in a full theater, and popcorn and lemonade are on you.
