Back in the 70s when we were transforming from high school to adulthood most of the kids I knew, myself included, didn't follow their hearts; we, more often than not, followed logic. My one big 'if only' would be to have had someone in my life who recognized and encouraged my creative potential and steered me in that direction. Fortunately for Waukesha Civic Theatre and the children and adults who take advantage of its Academy at Civic Theatre Educational Program, A.C.T. - there's Doug Jarecki.
