For more than 75 years, Easter Seals Southeast WI has been offering help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, and to the families who love them. Through therapy, training, education and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work and play.
This time of year can be draining for all of us. The darkness is longer. Compared to the summer, the activities we have to choose from seem so limited. For many of us, we just count the days until Spring. For those with disabilities these months can be extremely trying and even isolating, but they don't have to be.
Easter Seals in partnership with Milwaukee County Office of Persons with Disabilities offers great opportunties to get out of the house, meet new people and dump those winter blues. The latest Recreation Calendar is out with convenient locations in Wauwatosa, West Allis and South Milwaukee, as well as outings around our region. Individuals 16 and over can take Zumba and use those Latin moves at a Friday dance. For those looking for some quieter activities, clear your lungs to yell, "BINGO!" or tap your creative side with craft projects or cooking classes.

The 37th Snowmobile Festival kicks off the activities on February 1st. With free snowmobile rides given by our friend, Rolling Dice Riders.
So, get off the couch and join in the fun!
