State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Chief Executive Magazine released a 10th Annual survey of over 500 CEOs about the best and worst states for business. Wisconsin is named the 14th best state for business during 2014. Wisconsin ranked 41 during 2009 and 2010, 24 during 2011, 20 during 2012, and 17 during 2013. Congratulations on a remarkable improvement from 41 to 14, during four years increasing 27 places from 41 to position 14.
