Legislative Audit Bureau Releases Wisconsin Lottery Audit

The Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB) released the yearly Wisconsin Lottery financial audit required by State Statute 13.94(1)(em).  Wisconsin Lottery sales increased 3.4 percent from $547.6 million in Fiscal Year (FY) 2011-12 to $566.1 million in FY 2012-13.  Wisconsin Constitution Article IV Section 24(6) requires net proceeds from the Wisconsin Lottery be used for property tax relief.  Thanks to the increase in sales, property tax relief increased from $155.9 million in FY 2012-13 to $171.4 million for FY 2013-14.
