Curt is Chicago native - but don't hold that against him. After stops in Madison and California, he moved to Waukesha in 2004 to open a downtown business.

Two Thousand Five Hundred Forty Six

Over the past few years working as a teacher, I have learned a great deal of things.

I have learned that no amount of nacho cheese flavoring will make a freeze-dried meal worm taste good.

I have also learned that Kermit the Frog has 11 points on the collar around his neck, it takes a week to make a jelly bean, and that turtles can breathe through their butts.

Amazing.

The list of incredible facts I have learned from the kids goes on, each one more mind-blowing than the next. And I never tire of hearing them.

But last week, a student came to me and shared the most remarkable fact ever. And what made it even more spectacular was that she figured it out on her own.

It was an answer to an age old question- a question that has been asked for as long as I have been alive.

Here’s the answer: two thousand five hundred forty six.

Can you guess the question?

I’ll post it here next week.
