Vaya Con Dios Les Paul
There was a small rainbow over Waukesha Friday morning... even though it didn't rain. I'd like to think it was Les telling us he made it. Maybe he was just saying goodbye. The likely explanation of the rising sun refracting off water droplets just doesn't feel as good as a symbol left by a great person at the end of their life, if that's possible. If anyone could do it, Les Paul would I think.

When I remember Les I think of the incredible music he made possible. The hundreds of thousands of people he entertained in his 80 year career. I think what Waukesha must have been like in 1915 when Les was born, and 94 years later how his influence has changed the world. I think how fortunate am I to have met him and to have seen a live performance.
Go With God Les
