walk a mile (or two) in my shoes
The St. William Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is hosting the Second Annual Walk for the Poor this Saturday morning. There will be plenty of fresh air and exercise. Great weather and delicious food. Think about joining us to benefit Waukesha's less fortunate. It'll be a great day for a walk.
Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and find out how good it feels to give.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH
9:00 a.m. Registration will take place outside the Vercelli House
9:30 a.m. Fr. Jason Lavann will celebrate Mass indoors---come as you are
10:00 am WALK FOR THE POOR WILL FOLLOW THE MASS
Lunch and refreshments will be available after the WALK.
Water will be distributed during the WALK.
Remember donations-pledges are designated at the time of registration to a conference or council of YOUR choice.
Free WALK FOR THE POOR t-shirts will be available while supplies last.
Registration can be completed that morning along with a release of liability form.
The route: Moreland Blvd to Summit Avenue to Grandview Blvd to Madison Ave, back to Moreland back to the church. (St. William Parish)(approximately 2 miles.)
