open for business
Two neighboring businesses on West Main held Grand Openings yesterday and I was happy to help celebrate. Moxie Beauty Lounge and Waukesha Tattoo Company @ Galleria Edge complement each other. They both can color your skin and totally relax you, though in different ways.
Obviously Waukesha Tattoo uses ink to hide, highlight or add features, but also has the facilities to send you to another realm through the tips of accupuncture needles. I'll be the last person in Waukesha to get a tattoo, but I really love the looks and people of Waukesha Tattoo. Also, I could be talked into accupuncture. . . if the price is right.

After enjoying the great spread put on by Waukesha Tattoo, including a special batch of carmelized popcorn from Poppin' on Broadway that was delicious but the flavor hard to identify, was thinking about soon pedalling the bike home. Ran into fellow blogger Curt Otto who encouraged me to check out the other grandly opened business, Moxie.
On the other end of the skin treatment spectrum, Moxie applies temporary coloring to skin through makeup or spray tanning, but, besides hair styling, is another capable of completely relaxing you into another realm. . . this time through massage.

Again, I'll be the last one in Waukesha to get a beauty treatment, but massage, is that considered a beauty treatment? Or ear candling? I've so much wax in my ears those things would candle for days.
