Peoples, Places & Animals exhibit

Arliss Pietsch was initially inspired to paint by her high school art teachers in West Allis, Wisconsin. She transformed that love into a lifelong pursuit of art. Her acrylic paintings reflect that compulsion and also reflect her abiding interests in travel away from her Greenfield home (China, Egypt and other places), plus the challenge of depicting people and animals. Her art training in color, composition and technique was eclectic and included courses at the YMCA and Lifelong Learning Centers among other venues. Taylor's Peoples Park, Historic downtown Waukesha, www.peoplesparkwaukesha.com
