Associated Bank in Waukesha robbed

Dec. 26, 2012 8:34 p.m. | The Associated Bank, 1270 W. Sunset Drive in Waukesha, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money shortly before 1:30 p.m., Wednesday by a man who implied he had a weapon, police said.

Police were searching for the man, described as white or Hispanic, 28- to 35-years-old, 6 feet to 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighing between 215 and 230 pounds.

The man has several small tattoos under his right eye, possibly stars, and was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call (262) 524-3831.

Associated Bank on Sunset in Waukesha robbed

Dec. 26, 2012 3:32 p.m. | A man who said he’d blow up the bank if he didn’t get money robbed an Associated Bank on Sunset Drive in Waukesha around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police evacuated bank employees to a restaurant next door.
The suspect, who reportedly has a line of stars tattooed under his right eye, is believed to have fled in a dark-colored Jeep or minivan.
