Still contributing 'fore' education

Aug. 5, 2010 | 0 comments

The third annual Bob Duckett Memorial Golf Outing was held recently at Merrill Hills Country Club. Duckett was an educator and coach in the Waukesha Public Schools for many years. After his retirement, he was a driving force in the Waukesha Education Foundation, an organization that supports projects and programs that are not ordinarily funded by the school district's budget. Duckett died in December 2007. The golf outing in his honor has been held each year since then, with the proceeds being donated to the Waukesha Education Foundation.

Some of those at the benefit, which included dinner after golf, were Bob Kawitzke, Al Loehrl, Lee Woyahn, and Bob, Dave andJoe Scrima, all of Waukesha.
