1 A caller in the 2400 block of Springdale Road reported around 1:20 p.m. Nov. 17 that his girlfriend's golf clubs were stolen from a storage unit in the basement.
2 A caller reported around 2:20 p.m. Nov. 17 that "someone went through his truck, which was unlocked" in the 1600 block of Mohawk Lane. It was the second incident involving one of the caller's vehicles.
3 The Opticop camera observed two males fighting around 7 p.m. Nov. 17 on the sidewalk in front of 362 W. Main St.
4 A caller reported a women yelling "Get your hands off me" during a fight involving a man and woman around 8:15 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 200 block of West College Avenue.
5 A caller reported a possible drug deal around 8:30 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 500 block of Dunbar Avenue after seeing five cars pull up next to a silver Blazer and pull away. The cars were apparently stopping at a "station" as part of cheerleading group's scavenger hunt.
6 A "large college party that had been going on for two days (with) 20-30 … students" was reported around 10 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue.
7 A white Nissan Sentra reportedly hit a deer that "took off" around 12:20 a.m. Nov. 18 near Silvernail Road and North Grandview Boulevard.
8 A male, who appeared to be in his late teens and was intoxicated or high on drugs, reportedly tried to break in the front door of a building at 258 S. Moreland Blvd. around 6:45 a.m. Nov. 18.
9 Two unlocked vehicles in the 500 block of East College Avenue were reportedly "gone through" during the night and a GPS and iPod cord were stolen. It was reported around 9:40 a.m. Nov. 18.
10 A GPS was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of South James Street around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
11 A subject wearing a black ski mask displayed a gun during a robbery of oxycodone from a pharmacy at 221 E. Sunset Drive around 4 p.m. Nov. 18. About 25 customers in the store congregated by the photo lab for a search. Several witnesses said they saw someone exit around the back side.
12 A car reportedly struck a deer around 9:20 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 2500 block of West Sunset. The car needed to be towed.
13 A vehicle in the 1700 block of Penhurst Way was reportedly "gone through (during the) night" and a computer, computer work bag and other items were taken. It was reported around 8:45 a.m. Nov. 19.
14 A Garmin GPS was reportedly taken from a 1995 Chevy Tahoe in the 400 block of West Dunbar Avenue sometime between 11 a.m. Nov. 18 and 9 a.m. Nov. 19.
15 A man was reportedly walking near West St. Paul and North Prairie Avenue wearing all black and carrying a samurai sword around 9:40 a.m. Nov. 19. Police questioned the man and found him carrying an umbrella, not a sword, and he was walking to work as he regularly does.
16 A backpack containing a syringe, pill bottle, various pills and other items was found outside a store at 230 Madison Street around 4:15 p.m. Nov. 19.
17 Three young boys were reportedly riding a 'Barbie Jeep' down Chicago Street, near Spring Street, and into traffic around 4:30 p.m. Nov. 19.
18 A caller in the 1100 block of Dresser Avenue reported that someone used his wife's debit card on a Western Union website to transfer $400 to someone in Ghana.
19 Two vehicles were reportedly "drag racing down the street and doing doughnuts" around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 1900 block of Rustic Way. They were gone when police arrived.
20 A vehicle in the 2100 block of Harris-Highland Drive was reportedly "gone through overnight." It was reported around 9 a.m. Nov. 20.
21 A student at the STEM school's Saratoga Campus, 130 Walton Ave., reportedly "brought a folding knife to school two days in a row … to be a tough guy." It was reported around 11:15 a.m. Nov. 20.
22 Two kids were reportedly "on the train trestle, throwing rocks down at passing cars" around 3:15 p.m. Nov. 20 near Marshall Street and West Dunbar Avenue.
23 A man was taken into custody after he reportedly battered his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend and "threatened to smash out her windows" around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 400 block of West Main Street.
24 A male customer was reportedly "acting unruly … (and) raising his voice" because he couldn't get a discount at a store at 2401 Kossow Road around 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
25 An unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Cheyenne Drive was "ransacked" and reported around 6 p.m. Nov. 20.
26 A caller reported a male and female arguing and "slamming things around the apartment" in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane around 11 p.m. Nov. 20. The man was apparently worked up over a basketball game on TV and throwing a stress ball off the wall, while the female was yelling at him to stop.
27 An "unlocked car in an unlocked garage" was entered and $130 taken from a wallet around 9:30 a.m. Nov. 21 in the 500 block of Lake Street.
28 A manager at a store at 221 E. Sunset Drive asked police to remove a homeless woman who "sleeps in her car and then comes into the store and acts 'crazy'" around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21.
29 A caller reported he was battered by three males over the theft of a "rip stick" skateboard around 9:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in the 900 block of Linden Street.
30 A caller in the 1400 block of Paul Lane reported seeing "the doors to his truck open and a subject" inside around 12:30 a.m. Nov. 22.
31 An intoxicated male reportedly "spilled drugs on the counter … laughed and said 'You're not supposed to see that' and put them in his pocket" around 3:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at a Walgreen's at 230 Madison Street.
32 A report of "about eight underage juveniles smoking weed and drinking ... (and) going outside to throw up" was made around 11 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 2100 block of MacArthur Road. Police were not able to make contact with the apartment in question.
33 A caller in the 2000 block of Kensington Street fled in a vehicle with her 3-month-old child after her boyfriend trashed their apartment during a physical altercation around 11:20 p.m. Nov. 20.
34 A caller in the 2100 block of Springbrook South reported "his elderly neighbor was out wandering in the road" around 1 a.m. Nov. 23. The neighbor brought him back inside the house. Police contacted the man's son, who came to care for his father.
35 A tree blew down across University Road at Summit Avenue around 2 a.m. Nov. 23.
36 A caller reported a homeless encampment on the south side of the bike trail near Pearl Street and South Highway 164 on Nov. 23.
37 A caller reported that "a couple of men are dumping people's garbage and recycling bins all over the road and taking out the aluminum cans" around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 near MacArthur Road and South Grandview Boulevard.
38 Several callers reported smoke in the basement of a building in the 2200 block of Hollidale Drive around 2 a.m. Nov. 24. The smoke appeared to be coming from a furnace. No one was evacuated.
39 A man was reportedly "picking up people in front of (downtown) bars … as a free service … but requiring donations" around 2:45 a.m. Nov. 24. The man became angry when police told him he needed to be licensed as a business.
