1 Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of Oakdale Drive. It was reported around 1:40 p.m. Dec. 22.
2 A caller in the 800 block of Beechwood Avenue reported around 3:30 p.m. Dec. 22 that someone stole a package, which was confirmed to have been delivered on Dec. 20.
3 A couple in the 1300 block of Rose Court was involved in a domestic dispute around 5:20 p.m. Dec. 22. The wife thought her husband was being "unreasonable" in his requests regarding cooking for his family for Christmas dinner.
4 A caller in the 400 block of West Park Avenue reported around 10 p.m. that a neighbor threw an "air conditioner and microwave onto the shared driveway." The items were thrown out of a window. A call came in around 12:20 a.m. Dec. 23, saying the neighbor "threw another appliance out of his window" and later "dropped (a) machete out (of the) window."
5 A caller in the 1900 block of Madera Street reported hearing arguing and "things and/or people being thrown around" at about 1 a.m. Dec. 23. Police made contact with a male and female who said they were arguing "over the fact that he did not propose to her." The man said he was going to propose when the couple goes to Las Vegas in March.
6 A caller in the 1000 block of Delafield Street reported around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 23 that a woman in a neighboring apartment" sexually assaulted her a few days ago." Police spoke to three women involved and determined they had been "feuding." One said another "has been off her rocker lately."
7 A man with red hair was reportedly "blocking cars going in and out andflipping cars off" around 10:45 a.m. Dec. 24 at 101 W. Broadway.
8 A pregnant woman reportedly locked herself in a bedroom after a "male was physical with her" around 1 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 2000 block of MacArthur Road. The man was gone when police arrived.
9 A purse was reportedly stolen from a shopping cart around 1 p.m. Dec. 24 at a store at 2401 Kossow Road.
10 A resident at the Women's Center at 505 N. East Ave. reportedly threatened "to burn the building down" around 9 p.m. Dec. 24. Police made contact with the woman, who packed up, "left peacefully and relocated."
11 Staff at a gas station at 2530 N. Grandview Blvd. reported around 2:30 a.m. Dec. 25 that "a minivan-type vehicle (was) parked in the lot … for quite a while." Police found that a woman had fallen asleep in her vehicle while at the gas pump. She "was advised and sent on her way."
12 A woman in the 300 block of Dodie Drive reported around 3:20 a.m. Dec. 25 that a "female from a neighboring apartment building (was) at the caller's address because she got in a (physical) fight with her intoxicated husband."
13 Police were contacted regarding an apparent exterior water pipe break at a residence in the 2100 block of Allen Lane after water was observed "running all over the place." The "fire department made entry to turn off the water valve … no one was at home" and left a note for the homeowner."
14 A white Grand Cherokee vs. pole accident was reported around 7 p.m. Dec. 25 in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard. A man reported "got out of the vehicle twice (and) wasstaggering." The pole ended up "in the tree lawn south side of East Moreland."
15 A man was seen lying on the side of the road around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 25 in the 1900 block of East Main Street. The man "was trying to get to the Northview shelter and got lost … and ended up at HAWS." Police drove him to the shelter.
16 A man in a Mercury was reportedly yelling, swearing and throwing snow at a snow plow driver around 11 a.m. Dec. 26 in the 800 block of Corporate Court. The man told police he "sees them 'sloughing off' all the time and he was 'pissed' off about it."
17 A woman reported her vehicle was struck by a hit-and-rundriver in the parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 220 E. Sunset, around 1:20 p.m. Dec. 26. Police were dispatched to the scene around 3:20 p.m.
18 A man who reportedly "had a line of stars by his eyes" waited in line at the Associated Bank at 1270 W. Sunset Drive and handed the teller a note saying "he needed $5,000 in 10 minutes or he would blow up the bank." A bomb squad and canine unit were requested. The suspect was not located.
19 A subject who was wanted by police returned to a home in the 300 block of Sentinel Drive around 6:40 p.m. Dec. 26 "under the influence of heroin" and was taken intocustody by police.
20 A purse was stolen from an unlocked locker at Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road. It was reported around 7:15 p.m. Dec. 26.
21 A "drunk person" was reportedly sleeping inside a vehicle at the McDonalds lot, 2340 E. Moreland Blvd., around 3 a.m. Dec. 27.
22 A caller reported someone "getting in and out of his car and looking around homes" around 9 a.m. Dec. 27 near North Comanche Lane and Burton Drive. Apparently it was a dry cleaning business that picks up from homes.
23 A woman in the 900 block of Clinton Street, who was crying, called and said her boyfriend "punched her in the face" but later said "she's not sure if he did" around 2 p.m. Dec. 27. Police contacted the woman who said "that the boyfriend hit her with a roll of toilet paper and did not strike her." She said they were going shopping later and "was not in fear of the boyfriend."
24 A caller reported around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 27 that "someone possibly just shot a hole through (the) caller's window" in the 1900 block of Garland Avenue.
25 A woman reported finding a dead mouse and rat poison in her laundry around 9:15 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 1500 block of White Rock Avenue.
26 A caller reported seeing two males spraying a stop sign with paint around 10:15 p.m. Dec. 27 near Garfield Avenue and Debbie Drive.
27 A caller in the 100 block of Fountain Avenue reported "loud partying and yelling" from a neighbor around 12:30 a.m. Dec. 28. The caller said one of the residents in the offending apartment "sleeps all day long and parties all night."
28 A woman was reportedly "sleeping across the counter" since 1:30 a.m. at a store at 2106 S. West Ave. It was reported around 6:20 a.m. Dec. 28.
29 A caller reported seeing three homeless males urinating on a building in the 900 block of North Barstow Street around 8:45 a.m. Dec. 28. The caller reported being "fed up with these three."
30 A caller reported "three juveniles going through yards, throwing ice and snowballs at people's windows and houses" around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1800 block of Cottonwood Drive.
31 A caller in the 400 block of West Dunbar Avenue reported a gift card was stolen from a Christmas card in the mail and garbage thrown about around 4:15 p.m. Dec. 28.
32 A caller reported "almost hitting" some juveniles who were "sledding and going into traffic" around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
33 A caller in the 3900 block of RiversCrossing Drive reported a "loud party in (a) hot tub" around 12:45 a.m. Dec. 29.
34 An ambulance was called for a man who received a face laceration during a fight around 2:15 a.m. Dec. 29 in the 200 block of West Main Street.
35 A man was reportedly "passed out in a snow bank on Main between Oakland and Greenfield" around 4 a.m. Dec. 29. Police drove him to his residence but the man said he had lost his keys sometime during the night, so he called someone to pick him up.
