Patton, Miller advance from District 11 aldermanic primary
Incumbent gets about 41 percent of the vote
Just as they did in 2010, Roger Patton and Lenny Miller will square off for the District 11 aldermanic seat in the City of Waukesha on April 2.
Patton, the incumbent, and Miller, received the most votes in Tuesday's primary and now advance to the General Election.
Patton garnered 115 of the 278 votes, about 41 percent of the vote.
Miller, 55, received 71 votes, about 25 percent. Miller is a retail sales consultant with AT&T Mobility.
Patton, 76, is a retired minister. The seat is a three-year term.
The other challengers in the five-candidate race were far behind with James Cowee getting 31 votes, Tyler Hoffman 30 and Kyle Villarreal Sr. 29. There were two write-in votes.
District 11 covers the downtown area.
