The UW-Waukesha Continuing Education Department continues to expand its course offerings, and this summer the school is offering an unprecedented number of academies, trips and courses that include languages, food, dance and enrichment.

Learn the Basics of China

This class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 8-18.

Take a journey with native Chinese instructor Yan Peng and learn about China's food, culture, language and religions.

You'll also receive valuable ideas and tips about China. Fee: $129.

Japanese: Use it, Don't Lose it!

This class will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday's June 1-15 for Session 1, June 22-July 6 for Session 2, July 13-27 for Session 3 and Aug. 3-17 for Session 4. Keep your Japanese fresh with our expert. Sessions: $49.

Learn the Language and Culture of Italy

This class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 8-18.

Learn the culture and the words with this class.

Explore Italian cinema, music and the countryside while learning "how to" sentences.

Great course for those who are traveling to Italy in the near future. Fee: $129)
