Brief History: Randall School was one of the first schools in Waukesha. Named after Governor Alexander Randall, the school has seen three addition and remodeling projects. The first one was in 1929, the second in 1986 when the gym was added, and the third in 1992 when the school size was almost doubled. In the last project, the old classrooms were all remodeled so similar to the new classrooms.
Number of Students: The school usually has about 360 kindergarten through Grade 6 students each year.
What We Do Best: Randall Elementary School strives to "serve the children and serve the community" through effective communication with parents, high academic expectations, and efforts to provide a safe learning environment, which are all given a high priority. Parents feel welcome at Randall and are involved as volunteers in the classrooms and supporters of the school. Randall Elementary School has a partnership with Carroll University through which many Carroll students work and volunteer to assist teachers and students.
What's New? Randall School will be the first STEM school in the Waukesha School District - a science, technology, engineering, math charter school beginning next fall.
Recent Accomplishments: Being named a STEM School (See "What's New?").
Our Motto: Randall School…Serving the Children and the Community Since 1922
Upcoming Events: There will be a celebration in May, 2010, to honor and recognize all the parents, staff, and students who have attended Randall over the years. This is because of the new focus as the Randall STEM Academy beginning in the fall of 2010. It will be an open house format. Actual date has not been determined.
