Brief History: Established in January 1838 as the first Congregational Church in the Wisconsin Territory and the first church in what would later become Waukesha County. In 1867 the church building was built and has been renovated and remodeled numerous times since. In 1961 an educational wing was added to the building. In June 1961 the members voted to become part of the United Church of Christ. In 1975 the church became a Wisconsin Registered Landmark.
