Brief History: Our school started serving the greater Waukesha area in 1892. Being here for well over 100 years we are proud of our history and boldly look to the future. Christian education has been an important mission of our church so that our partnership with parents fulfills their God-given responsibility "bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)" Our school serves children in preschool through eighth grade. We have self contained classrooms through fourth grade and in our 5-8 grade we are departmentalized.

Number of students: 183 (K-8); 45 (PreK); 20 (Childcare)

What we do best: We educate the whole child from toddlers to teens. Our focus is academic, social, emotional, and physical education all in the context of a Christ-centered environment. Our students are well-prepared for the rigors of high school and with our advanced math and science in the upper grades, and our strong literacy focus in the lower grades we produce graduates that are advanced enough to be placed in advanced courses that track them toward the AP college prep classes. We also have a wonderful inter-scholastic athletic program where an athlete can participate in volleyball, basketball, soccer, track and field, wrestling and cross country.

What's new?: We continue to improve our classrooms with Smart technology. All of our classrooms, K-8, are equipped with a Smartboard interactive whiteboards. We are starting a First Lego League robotics team, and assembling a team to compete in the Future City Engineering Competition. Our 3-4 grades just completed their science fair and enjoyed giving those presentations. We look forward to our 5-6 grade forensic competition happening March 20.

Recent accomplishments: Trinity Lutheran School holds 2009-10 accreditation by the Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools, and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Schools Accreditation Associations. Read 'em to the Roof Campaign of 2009 was successful. See youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoGwNMD6-54 for the news coverage.

Upcoming events: The drama students of Trinity will be putting on a production of the musical "Annie," April 29-May 2.Call the school office for tickets and times at (262) 547-8020.

What's more: We have a Math Track Meet upcoming in March for our "Mathletes". Our Spelling Bee finalists in grade 2-4 will be competing in our regional primary grades spelling bee. Dead Sea Scrolls presentation and field trip. Plus much, much, more both extra-curricular, and co-curricular.
