Waukesha - A man who allegedly dealt crack cocaine was charged for dealing the drug after an undercover Waukesha officer purchased several hundred dollars worth of the drug from the man.
Preston J. Lipsey, 20, of Milwaukee, was charged Jan. 18 in Waukesha County Circuit Court with five felony counts of delivery of cocaine. A warrant has been issued for Lipsey's arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, a Waukesha officer working with a confidential informant set up five purchases of crack cocaine in Waukesha from May 10, 2010, through June 19, 2010. The officer spent a total of $820 to buy a total of 7.2 grams of the drug.
Lipsey allegedly gave the officer some free crack cocaine because "he had been such a good customer," the complaint said.
