Police Report: Feb. 7
Information taken from reports filed by the Waukesha Police Department
1 A caller in the 300 block of West North Avenue called around 1:40 p.m. Jan. 26 and wanted help removing a "a naked picture of her 17-month-old (daughter) on Facebook. It was posted by her grandma and she is refusing to take it down."
2 A caller in the 1900 block of Waterview Lane reported around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 26 that a neighbor "pounded on the wall so hard it knocked the caller's mirror down."
3 A woman in the 1500 block of David Court reported around 8:45 p.m. Jan. 26 that she was assaulted by a man. She was taken to the hospital.
4 A 17-year-old female in the 700 block of Arcadian Avenue reported around 11:40 p.m. Jan. 26 that a male who had "stopped over" while she was at a sleepover, causing "bleeding from (her) nose" and she needed an ambulance.
5 A caller reported around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 27 that her boyfriend "kicked and urinated on (her) car" near Maple and Wisconsin avenues.
6 Two purses were reportedly found in a tree in a yard in the 300 block of Joris Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
7 A vehicle reportedly lost control and hit several mailboxes in the 200 block of North Comanche Lane around 2:40 p.m. Jan. 27. A young man who lives in the neighborhood "tried to notify people that he hit the mailboxes."
8 Two males were reportedly fighting around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in the 600 block of East North Street.
9 A caller reported around 8 p.m. Jan. 27 that her purse "was just stolen at Speedway," 400 Summit Avenue.
10 A vehicle was reported in a ditch, "close to the river and tree line" at 1900 East North Street, just south of Cooper Power, around midnight Jan. 27.
11 A car vs. garbage truck accident was reported around 8 a.m. Jan. 28 near Dixie Drive and Burr Oak Boulevard.
12 A 5-year-old at Prairie Elementary School, 1801 Center St., was reportedly "hitting and attacking others" around 10 a.m. Jan. 28.
13 A caller in the 100 block of Hinman Avenue reported that a college-aged man came into her yard and appeared to try to take her dog around noon Jan. 28. The man had come by earlier asking about the dog, a pit bull mix.
14 A caller reported "someone smashed out her windshield in (a) lot" in the 1600 block of Arcadian Avenue. It was reported around 9:40 p.m. Jan. 28.
15 A sign was reported stolen from an office building at 511 N. Grand Ave. It was reported around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 29.
16 A caller near Brook and East North streets reported around 2:30 p.m. Jan. 29 a "couple outside fighting … and (the) female took a swing at the male."
17 A boat was reportedly stolen from a vacant home in the 200 block of Douglass Avenue. It was reported around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29.
18 A caller in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive reported that the caller's vehicle was struck by a student driver around 6 p.m. Jan. 29.
19 A caller in the 1900 block of Kensington Drive reported that "two packages were taken from in front of her door in the past two weeks," around 6:40 p.m. Jan. 29.
20 A bus was hit by a white vehicle driven by an elderly male, who fled the scene, around 9:25 a.m. Jan. 30 near the hospital at 725 American Ave. The bus sustained only minor damage.
21 A vehicle knocked over a telephone pole around 11:20 a.m. Jan. 30 near East Racine Avenue and South Highway 164.
22 A red Toyota reportedly rear-ended a school bus around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30 near East Main Street and South Highway 164. Several other accidents were reported around this time.
23 A Bearcat armored vehicle responded to the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Jan. 30 after a report that a man with a gun was going to confront his girlfriend, who was allegedly cheating on him. Police found the two talking calmly in a nearby laundromat and found no gun.
24 A caller reported around 1 a.m. Jan. 31 that a woman stole $400 from her while she was at Walmart, 2000 S. West Avenue.
25 The Metro Transit Company reported around 2 p.m. Jan. 31 that a vehicle damaged a bus shelter near Pebble Valley Road and North University Drive.
26 The DOT office at 2019 Golf Road reported around 3 p.m. Jan. 31 that a man in a white suit "came in and tried to present false documents for a driver's license." The man would not speak to police "without his immigration lawyer."
27 A "hysterical 13-year-old" in the 1300 block of Gramling Lane called police because his mother was "upset with him for being mean to her and … telling him to leave." The boy's "iPod (had been) taken away for calling his mother stupid."
