Police Report: Jan. 30
Information taken from reports filed by the Waukesha Police Department
1 A 17-year-old male was reportedly "out of control (and) breaking things" around noon Jan. 19 in the 100 block of West North Street. Apparently no drinking or drugs were involved.
2 A woman reported around 3 p.m. Jan. 19 that she was attacked the previous night when she left the bathroom at Sporties, 333 W. Sunset Drive. The woman reported "her hair was pulled and she was taken to the ground," which resulted in bruises and a scratch.
3 A man was arrested, after a woman reported he said he would shoot her, around 3 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue.
4 A fire in the cargo area of a work van was reported around 3:45 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 2700 block of Albany Court. A man working on a home said there may have been a battery short in a bag of power tools.
5 A caller reported a man in a truck who kept turning his headlights on and off was parked in the 2100 block of Davidson Road around 8 p.m. Jan. 19. The man was taking part in a HAMM radio activity.
6 A woman in the 1600 block of Swartz Drive reported around 1:20 p.m. Jan. 20 that her 12-year-old daughter was "throwing furniture (and) biting the … cats."
7 A caller in the 1800 block of Haymarket Road reported around 4 p.m. Jan. 20 that his wife "kicked out the driver's side window in his truck (and was) screaming at the caller."
8 A caller near Hinman and Harvey avenues reported around 8 p.m. Jan. 20 a "vehicle in the area (that) has the gas nozzle hanging out of the gas tank." Apparently a woman "drove out of the Speedway on South Grand with the gasoline nozzle still in the vehicle. She then put (the) nozzle in the back of seat because she had to get home for a bowel movement." The nozzle was returned to Speedway.
9 Two downtown ice sculptures, one on Grand Avenue and one on Broadway, were reported knocked over around midnight Jan. 20. Several others were also knocked down around 8 p.m. Jan. 21.
10 A woman was pinned in her vehicle after if rolled over west of the intersection of Lawnsdale and River roads around 9 a.m. Jan. 21. The woman and another occupant were apparently "OK."
11 A caller in the 900 block of Beechwood Avenue reported around 3 p.m. Jan. 21 that a rifle was stolen from his truck.
12 A caller in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue reported around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 21 that a man she knew "came to (her) door asking (her) to perform oral sex … and he would pay her $20."
13 A car vs. deer accident was reported around 6 p.m. Jan. 21 near Northview and Meadowbrook roads.
14 Four wheels from a 2011 Escalade were reportedly stolen and the vehicle placed on concrete blocks in the 2100 block of East Moreland Boulevard. It was reported around 2:30 a.m. Jan. 22. Footprints were found in the area.
15 A caller in the 1200 block of Foxwood Trail reported around 8:10 a.m. Jan. 22 that her 15-year-old son did not want to go to school because he was upset over exams.
16 A caller in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive reported her 18-year-old daughter "punched a hole in the wall" around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 22.
17 A vehicle was broken into in the 1900 block of Chapman Drive and reported around 12:20 p.m. Jan. 22.
18 A laptop computer was reportedly "taken from a doctor's desk" at 1111 Delafield St. around 4:20 p.m. Jan. 22.
19 A caller in the 100 block of Randall Street reported around 4:45 p.m. Jan. 22 that his "ex-wife's boyfriend (was) sending penis pictures and vulgar text messages to (his) phone."
20 A caller in the 1200 block of South Prairie Avenue reported around 12:15 a.m. Jan. 23 that a semi was being "too loud" and that semis are using the area "as a truck stop to sleep at night." Police found the noise excessive and advised the driver to move away from the residential area.
21 A caller in the 600 block of East Main Street reported around 11:45 a.m. Jan. 23 that the windshield on the caller's Ford Escape was broken out.
22 A fire was reported in an apartment at 347 Dodie Drive around 4 p.m. Jan. 23. The Red Cross was notified for occupants displaced from one apartment. A salt truck was also called.
23 A 61-year-old woman reported leg pain after she was trapped in her Ford Focus following a two-car accident around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 23 near Sunset and West.
24 A caller in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard reported motorcycles operating on the ice around 7 p.m. Jan. 23.
25 A caller in the 1800 block of Haymarket Road reported around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23 that his wife "called him and. told him that he was going to be dead some morning."
26 Custom-built wooden skids were reportedly stolen from outside a business at 1342 Pearl St. It was reported around 9 a.m. Jan. 24.
27 Carroll University security requested "squads for three students with marijuana" around noon Jan. 24 in the 100 block of Wright Street.
28 A caller in the 1800 block of Shepherd Court reported a subject buzzed the caller's apartment screaming, "Open the door, I'm going to stab you," and shouted obscenities around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 24. Police spoke to the subject, who said he "had the wrong apartment and was playing a prank on the friend he was visiting."
