Police Report: Feb. 1

1 A caller in the 1000 block of Guthrie Road reported around 7 a.m. Jan. 21 that two TVs, an Xbox, a bow and four guns were taken during the night while he was out plowing.

2 The OptiCop remote camera was utilized to view an accident at Madison Street and West St. Paul Avenue around 11:20 a.m. Jan. 21.

3 A woman with prior drunken driving arrests was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after striking a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of South East Avenue around 6 p.m. Jan. 21. The woman had left the scene.

4 Two juveniles in a "black four door" reportedly shot at someone around 8 p.m. Jan. 21 near North Hine and Summit avenues.

5 An 80-year-old woman requested an ambulance for neck and back pain after a vehicle she was in collided with a light pole around 8:15 p.m. Jan. 21 near Manhattan Drive and East Moreland Boulevard.

6 A caller reported that a man known to him "came into his house and battered him" around 9 p.m. Jan. 21 in the 100 block of Kilps Court.

7 A Chevy Monte Carlo in the 600 block of Summit Avenue was reportedly broken into and ransacked around 7:30 a.m. Jan. 22. Nothing was taken.

8 A domestic disturbance in which a male pushed a female and held her arms tight was reported around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 300 block of North Moreland Boulevard.

9 A caller in the 1300 block of Navajo Lane reported around 11 p.m. Jan. 22 that her mother was "rampaging through the house, smashing things."

10 A car traveling in icy conditions reportedly struck mailboxes in the 1700 block of Elder Street around 6:40 a.m. Jan. 23.

11 A woman in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue reported around 11 a.m. Jan. 23 that her "boyfriend pushed his way into (her) apartment and pushed her down, then pushed her out." Police reported the woman had "bruising and cuts."

12 A report of a "fall on city property" was made around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 24 at 1901 Delafield Street.

13 A 57-year-old female reportedly complained of right elbow and lower back pain after slipping on ice around 1 p.m. Jan. 24 in the 800 block of East Avenue.

14 The "touch screen" at a Redbox video dispenser in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard was reportedly "smashed in" around 4 p.m. Jan. 24.

15 Three males reportedly "came into the caller's room and tried to choke him and stole his belongings" around 5 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Price Pointe Inn, 534 Bluemound Road. The argument was reportedly over money and a firearm.

16 "A chubby lesbian couple" was reportedly fighting in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Madera Street around 6:45 p.m. Jan. 24.

17 "All of the storage lockers" in a building in the 1900 block of Madera Street were reportedly broken into around 8:15 p.m. Jan. 24.

18 A fight involving four males and one female, all allegedly very intoxicated, was reported around 1:20 a.m. Jan. 26 at Master Z's Cue Club, 2454 N. Grandview Blvd. The female was reportedly the "instigator."

19A caller in the 800 block of Woodward Street reported around 1:20 p.m. Jan. 25 that "he needed help with the flies that are in his stomach."

20 A 6-year-old reportedly was "out of control, running outside and teachers can't catch him" around 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at Hadfield Elementary School, 733 Linden St.

21 A caller reported around 7:20 p.m. Jan. 25 that photography equipment was stolen from his vehicle behind Kmart, 200 E. Sunset Drive, the previous night and that the male suspect called saying he was homeless and would give the items back in exchange for money. Police met with the caller and the homeless man, who returned the items and said he was looking for a reward.

22 A caller in the 1200 block of Lombardi Way reported around 9 p.m. Jan. 25 that her neighbor punched her "in the face, ripped her earring out … and was pulling her around by her hair." The neighbor told police the caller was asked to leave, but refused.

23 A report was made "of a vehicle in the water" around 7:30 a.m. Jan. 26 at Lawnsdale and River roads.

24 A caller reported "pain in her neck" after an accident involving a van and a Chevy around 12:10 p.m. Jan. 26 near South East and West Newhall avenues.

25 A male in a white Cavalier was reportedly "reaching in the back seat into a duffle bag and throwing items out of the car" around 4 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 200 block of Mountain Ave.

26 A "male subject in the bushes," who was "very cold to (the) touch and not waking up," was reported around 5 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 100 block of Northwest Barstow Street. Police found him intoxicated and tried to find a shelter for him.

27 A caller reported that a male "left (a) mark" on the arm of a female during a fight around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 1900 block of Ruben Drive.

28 The words "Tribe Territory" were reported written on an apartment sign in the 2600 block of Pebble Valley Road around 9:45 p.m. Jan. 26. Police followed footsteps in the snow and questioned a suspect.

29 A vehicle was reported in a ditch by the tracks in the 200 block of West Moreland Boulevard around 3 a.m. Jan. 27.

30 A caller in the 2400 block of Fox River Parkway reported around 5:45 a.m. Jan. 27 that "(he) just came outside and found his truck windows smashed and GPS missing."
