1 A very intoxicated male, who bought a watermelon and vodka and was "slurring his words (and) … staggering around," was reported around 3:30 p.m. July 28 at the Pick 'n Save, 1220 W. Sunset Drive. He was followed by police after he left the store and was reportedly going "about 60 mph" on St. Paul.
2 A man was reportedly cutting his wrists around 6:20 p.m. July 28 behind a bus in the 400 block of North University Drive.
3 A report of "a male subject sitting on the edge of the fountain, yelling at everyone passing by" was made around 8:45 p.m. July 28 in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
4 Several items - including a purse containing credit cards, Coach wallet, laptop and monitor - were reported stolen from a house that was broken into around 1:45 a.m. July 29 in the 700 block of North Bel-Ayr Drive.
5 Two men were taken into custody after a report of a fight around 2 a.m. July 29 in the 900 block of Friedman Drive.
6 A 6-year-old girl wearing a nightgown, who said she was lost, was reported around 8:20 a.m. July 29 in the 900 block of North Moreland Boulevard. The girl told police that she "wanted to go Toys R Us and when she was told 'no' she decided to go herself and snuck out when everyone was sleeping." She was returned home.
7 A caller in the 700 block of North Grand Avenue reported around 8:30 a.m. July 29 that a man with a handgun demanded money from him several hours earlier, when he was walking down the street. The "caller gave (the) suspect (his) cellphone and cigarettes."
8 "Vandalism through the area and at the Rotary building" was reported around 10 a.m. July 29 in the 1100 block of Baxter Street.
9 A caller in the 800 block of Venture Court reported finding "a large bone" around 2 p.m. July 29. It appeared to be an animal bone and was disposed of.
10 A caller in the 600 block of Summit Avenue reported finding "a large number of syringes in a pile" after the caller saw a "group of teenagers coming and going from a wooded area" around 3:15 p.m. July 29. Police "recovered multiple drug paraphernalia that is used for consuming heroin."
11 A report of "someone … siphoning fuel out (of) vehicles along the block" was made around 6:15 p.m. July 29 in the 1700 block of Oakdale Drive.
12 A woman who reportedly stole someone's Walmart credit card and ordered a laptop to be picked up at the store came into the store at 2000 S. West Ave. to get the item around 6:15 p.m. July 29. Employees tried to stall the woman until police arrived.
13 A naked male was reportedly running around apartments in the 2700 block of North University Drive. The report indicated that "several people have made eye contact with him and he has not been scared off."
14 A woman came into the police station at 1901 Delafield St. "to report that her daughter was having sex and buying drugs" around 2 p.m. July 30. She was "given options and advice."
15 A man in the 1600 block of Blackhawk Trail was reportedly screaming obscenities outside around 2:45 a.m. July 30. The man said that he went outside to "blow off some steam" since he and his wife were not getting along.
16 A caller reported her husband was "inside the house, breaking the caller's things" around 8:40 a.m. July 30 in the 300 block of Walton Avenue.
17 Someone reportedly stole a rifle, mitre saw, toolbox, nailers and other tools from a locked maintenance room in the 400 block of Moreland Boulevard. It was reported around 11 a.m. July 30.
18 A caller in the 1000 block of Lindbergh Avenue reported around 4:20 p.m. July 30 that someone keeps calling, saying "she had won the lottery, but she would have to send him $150 in order to collect her winnings." The woman "recognized this as a scam."
19 An iPod and a GPS were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2000 block of Garland Avenue and reported around 5:30 p.m. July 30.
20 A caller reported around 8:15 p.m. July 30 finding "a possible homeless encampment" in the 1100 block of West St. Paul Avenue, with "some items of value … left behind."
21 A caller reported that two males in an apartment were trying to teach a 4-year-old how to fight in the hallway around 11:45 p.m. July 30 in the 600 block of East North Street. Police responded and found the boy with drumsticks in his hand, being taught how to drum.
22 A caller reported that a male and female entered the caller's truck "during the night and it's on video" in the 100 block of Wilson Avenue. It was reported around 7 a.m. July 31.
23 Five to 10 "sample" textbooks were reportedly stolen from a classroom at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha over the weekend. It was reported around 2 p.m. July 31.
24 A caller flagged down a police officer to report a man in a parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 220 E. Sunset Drive, was "swearing on his cellphone" around 4 p.m. July 31. The man told police he was arguing with his mother.
25 A car in the 200 block of Wilson Avenue was reportedly broken into overnight. It was reported around 4:30 p.m. July 31.
26 A female was reportedly "beating on a red Grand Am and screaming at the occupant" of a vehicle at a gas station at 521 S. Grand Ave. around 8 p.m. July 31. The two were arguing about rumors.
27 Three juveniles reportedly stole a bicycle and several other items around 9:45 p.m. July 31 in the 1000 block of Buena Vista Avenue. Three juveniles were questioned in the lot at Moor Downs golf course.
28 A stereo was stolen out of a vehicle in the 700 block of Morgan Avenue. It was reported around 9 a.m. Aug. 1.
29 A semi and a pick-up were involved in an accident around noon Aug. 1 in the 2400 block of Saratoga Road. There were apparently no injuries.
30 A caller reported a car crashed into the rear of his house in the 500 block of South Moreland Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1. The caller reported "no one around it at all."
31 Two females were reportedly "fist fighting and hair pulling" around 6:45 p.m. Aug. 1, as "15 other kids …(were) around them" near Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
32 A "large group of teenage males" were reportedly "smashing carts around into vehicles" in the parking lot at Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., around 10:30 p.m. Aug. 1.
33 A man, who was possibly intoxicated, was reportedly "exposing himself and urinating" on the east side of the river in the 1200 block of White Rock Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Aug. 3.
34 A caller in the 900 block of Western Avenue reported around 11:45 a.m. Aug. 3 that an air-conditioning unit was taken off a window and access gained to the inside of the house where tools were stolen sometime during the previous day.
35 A caller near Welsh Court and North University Drive called police around 5:20 p.m. Aug. 20 for advice on how to keep his son from hanging around older guys"known for dealing, drinking and illegal tattoos."
36 A caller in the 1800 block of Haymarket Road reported her 11-year-old daughter "is being harassed via text message by another child" around 11 p.m. Aug. 3.
