1 A caller in the 300 block of Born Place reported "a male subject just tried to take the items from his yard" at about 7 a.m. Aug. 11. The caller "found his stolen flower pot later in the day in the 100 block of Walton.
2 A caller in the 300 block of West North Street reported that someone wrote on her car window "douche learn how to park" at about 10 a.m. Aug. 11. She was able to wipe it off without any damage.
3 Two subjects were reportedly having sex at a park pavilion at about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 1200 block of White Rock Avenue.
4 A male in his 40s with long, dirty, brownish hair reportedly was stomping at a traffic light and asked a woman "Have you ever been molested?" at about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 11 near West Main and North Barstow streets.
5 Someone was reportedly shooting a bow and arrow at about 5:40 p.m. Aug. 11 near Mountain and Lawnsdale avenues. Police advised the person on the archery equipment ordinance.
6 At about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 11, a caller in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive reported finding an ad for a house for rent on Craig's List that "asked (him) to send $600 and $800 via Western Union and he would receive the rental agreement and keys in the mail." The caller believed it was a scam.
7 A loud graduation party with "excessive noise coming from the beer pong game in the driveway and the music" was reported at about 10 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 1600 block of Legend Hill Lane.
8 A caller in the 700 block of Delafield Street reported seeing "a male in his late teens loitering in his yard near (the caller's) vehicle" at about 10 p.m. Aug. 11.
9 A male was reportedly "battered …(and) bleeding" after a fight at about midnight Aug. 11 at Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road. While investigating the battery complaint, police noted "numerous subjects from four or five …wedding parties had to be separated for fighting and disorderly behavior."
10 A white vehicle reportedly hit a lamp post, which fell into traffic, at about 1:45 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 800 block of East Main Street. The driver, who was reportedly intoxicated, also apparently tried to leave with a flat tire.
11 Money and a stereo were reportedly taken out of vehicles in the 2800 block of University Drive. The thefts were reported at about 10:45 a.m. Aug. 12.
12 Two subjects, who might have broken windows on a black Toyota near Anoka and Perkins avenues and stolen a radio, were reported running from the area at about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 12.
13 A man in the 900 block of East Main Street reported at about 2:40 p.m. Aug. 12 that his former girlfriend can get "physical" when she is intoxicated and "tried to maliciously grab his testicles" the previous night.
14 A man in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street reported at about 7 p.m. Aug. 12 "he is losing his home and does not have anywhere to store his four swords" and he does not want them "falling into the wrong hands." Police removed the swords, to be inventoried and destroyed.
15 Police forcibly entered an apartment in the 300 block of Walton Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 12 after a report of a fight.
16 A caller reported a "potato in (a) muffler and (a) gas tank opened" at about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 1600 block of South Prairie Avenue.
17 A report of a Saturn sprayed with ketchup was made at about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 1200 block of Market Place.
18 A TV was reportedly taken out of a room at the Price Point Inn, 532 Bluemound Road. It was reported at about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 13.
19 A caller reported mustard on her car at about 6:45 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 1200 block of Tenny Avenue.
20 A caller reported injuring his hand when his vehicle was hit by a silver Pontiac, whose female driver was "throwing her kids into the back seat and striking them" at about 7:45 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 2700 block of North Grandview Boulevard. The Pontiac swerved, striking the caller's vehicle, and then sped out of the lot, according to the report.
21 A 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis passenger-side window was reportedly smashed and a wallet stolen at about 6:30 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 2400 block of Pebble Valley Road.
22 A caller reported seeing a male put a canister onto a guardrail at about 2 p.m. Aug. 14 near Rivera Drive and Big Bend Road. Police retrieved the canister and found a small log, apparently for a GPS log/game, and ruled it was "nothing nefarious."
23 A caller in the 900 block of River Park Drive reported at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 14 that "someone smashed out their patio door with a rock" while they were gone.
24 A wallet containing $100 cash, gift cards and identification was reportedly stolen from a locker at the YMCA, 320 E. Broadway at about 5:45 p.m. Aug. 14.
25 A caller in the 100 block of Grandview Boulevard reported around 7:20 p.m. Aug. 14 that someone tore open a FedEx package "and pieces were thrown all over."
26 A caller reported at about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14 that someone was sleeping behind a shed on his property in the 100 block of Carroll Street. A rolled up foam pad, buckets, toilet paper and several bags were found there.
27 A caller in the 2000 block of Melody Lane reported at about 11:45 p.m. Aug. 14 that a male texted his 16-year-old a picture of a penis.
28 A man reportedly came into a bank at 1580 E. Moreland Blvd. and "started talking loudly about how the banks can't do anything for the little people" at about 11 a.m. Aug. 15.
29 A woman reported that a "mail carrier grabbed (her) by the arm" at about noon Aug. 15 in the 1300 block of Lafllin Avenue.
30 A caller in the 800 block of Sylvan Terrace reported at about 2:45 p.m. Aug. 15 that a group of 17-year-olds was "hitting turkeys with stones and shovels" and shouting obscenities over a loudspeaker.
31 A woman in the 500 block of Dunbar Avenue was hospitalized at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 15 after she was reportedly battered and sexually assaulted.
32 Traffic had to turn around after the intersection of Highway 59 and West Avenue was reportedly flooded at about 7 a.m. Aug. 16.
33 A male was reportedly sleeping in a storage unit at an apartment building in the 1600 block of Arcadian Avenue at about noon Aug. 16.
34 Juveniles in the 300 block of Estberg Avenue were reportedly smoking cigarettes and marijuana at about 12:20 p.m. Aug. 16.
35 Several police vehicles were called to the area of Mountain Avenue and Dopp Street at about 8:20 p.m. Aug. 16 to arrest a wanted person. A foot chase ensued, and an arrest was made.
36 A semi hit a large sign in front of building at 1583 E. Moreland Blvd. at about 11 a.m. Aug. 17.
37 Someone reportedly carved an obscenity in the door of a Smart Car in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue. The damage was reported at about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 17.
38 A rooster and a homeless person were reported in the caller's backyard in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue at about 7 p.m. Aug. 17. A neighbor allowed the homeless man to camp in the backyard; the rooster was in the woods and did not pose a threat, according to police.
39 A mattress next to a Dumpster in the 500 block of East Broadway was reportedly set on fire at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 17. The fire was out shortly after.
40 A sexual assault in a vehicle was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 400 block of Jackson Court.
