1 A purse was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot of Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road. The theft was reported around 10 a.m. Aug. 18.
2 A male reportedly "kicked a Toyota" during a fight Aug. 18 that involved several people, including two women, in the intersection of West Newhall and South West avenues.
3 A caller in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive reported around 2 p.m. Aug. 18 that "someone just came by and threw her wallet at her back door" after it was stolen from her vehicle.
4 Two callers complained about the loud bass from a band that was playing near West St. Paul and South Washington avenues around 6:45 p.m. Aug. 18.
5 A man reportedly "walked into (a) neighbor's house and left with (a gun)" around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 200 block of Maria Street.
6 A man reportedly dislocated his shoulder, which "stuck in a position where his arm (was) above his head" while trying "to control his son" during an argument that involved "20 people fighting with golf clubs" around 9 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
7 A man was tasered and taken into custody after he was stopped on suspicion of drunken driving around 10 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 400 block of Gascoigne Drive.
8 A man was reportedly "bleeding from the nose and the mouth" after being struck in the face during an argument around 11:45 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 1200 block of Cavalier Drive.
9 An intoxicated man who was reportedly "armed, dangerous (and) likes to fight" was "throwing bottles at (the) caller's windows" around 1:30 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road.
10 Washers and dryers were reportedly broken into and coins stolen in the 200 block of West North Avenue. It was reported around 8 a.m. Aug. 19.
11 Windows of a Red Honda CRV in a lot in the 300 block of Northwest Barstow Street were broken, in the Carroll College overflow parking lot, to gain entry to the vehicle. It was reported around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 19.
12 Two car
loads of people reportedly came to fish in the lake at the Fox Lake Subdivisions near Huron Lane and Mohican Trail around 4 p.m. Aug. 19. Only residents are allowed to fish in the lake.
13 A 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl were reported missing around 6:45 p.m. Aug. 19 from the 600 block of Beechwood Avenue. They were found a short time later. The two were out "looking for the rainbow."
14 A caller in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue reported around 6 a.m. Aug. 20 that someone was "sleeping in his backyard covered in a blanket (and the caller) wants him removed."
15 Two pairs of sunglasses and an iPhone were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 2000 block of Kilps Drive. It was reported around 6:30 a.m. Aug. 20.
16 Wheels were reportedly taken from cars by someone who possibly came through a fence in the 2100 block of East Moreland Boulevard. It was reported around 7 a.m. Aug. 20.
17 An iPod and some change were reportedly taken from a vehicle in the 600 bock of Everett Drive. It was reported around 8:30 a.m. Aug. 20.
18 A woman from Milwaukee reported around 2:30 p.m. Aug. 20 that she was "held against her will" by a man living in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue whom she met on Facebook two-and-a-half months ago.
19 Three juveniles were reportedly "shooting their air soft pistols in their yard at soda cans" around 6 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 1600 block of Schwartz Drive. They were cooperative when police advised them on the guns' use.
20 A female caretaker at a residence in the 1800 block of Northview Road reportedly "passed out in (a) bathroom" while she was cleaning "with several different chemicals" around 8:40 p.m. Aug. 20.
21 A vehicle hit a deer that had been hit by another vehicle that left the scene around 9 p.m. Aug. 20 near Lawnsdale and River roads.
22 Subjects were observed on Opticop "throwing bags of garbage into (the) street" around 2 a.m. Aug. 21 near Clinton Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
23 A black Volkswagen reportedly hit a deer around 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21 near Meadowbook Road and Coldwater Creek Drive.
24 A caller in the 900 block of East Moreland reported around noon Aug. 21 that someone has been dumping five to eight cases of empty Miller Lite beer bottles in her Dumpster for several weeks.
25 A man who was intoxicated was reportedly lying in the grass in the 400 block of Buena Vista Avenue around 4 p.m. Aug. 21.
26 A semi reportedly "took off a traffic standard" around 11:40 a.m. Aug. 22 near Moreland Boulevard and Pewaukee Road.
27 An elderly male became disoriented and confused while walking to meet someone for lunch around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 22 and was taken inside a business in the 1800 block of Woodburn Road.
28 A boy about 1 or 2 years old was reported "wandering on the road" about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 300 block of Wabash Ave.
29 A caller reported around 5:45 p.m. Aug. 22 that someone entered his apartment overnight and "stole his cellphone and van dalized the place" in the 200 block of South Grand Avenue.
30 An intoxicated female was reported lying on the steps of a church at 100 Main St. for more than an hour around 10:30 p.m. Aug. 22.
31 An intoxicated subject who said he "likes to dodge cars like Walker Texas Ranger" was reported walking into traffic around 2 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 100 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
32 A caller reported observing a male "in driveways, checking cars and house" around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 1000 block of Lemira Avenue.
33 A woman reported her purse was taken from her car while she was parked at the side of a service station at 1600 E. Sunset Drive around 9:40 p.m. Aug. 23.
34 Police responded to the 1000 block of Caroline after a frantic woman reported a bat in her apartment around midnight Aug. 23.
35 A woman reportedly "attempt(ed) to slash herself in the abdomen with (a) knife after charging at (a) male (who refused to have sex with her) with it" around 4 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 1700 block of South West Avenue.
36 A building in the 1600 block of Arcadian Avenue was broken into by prying open a door. It was reported around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 24.
37 A man reportedly was in a car with "a pistol in his pants" during a "dispute over (a) check" around
1 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
38 A briefcase that was reportedly taken from a vehicle in a driveway was reportedly found in bushes in the 700 block of Oxford Road around 1:45 p.m. Aug. 24.
39 A man sustained a possible head injury during an accident around 3:45 p.m. Aug. 24 near East Moreland Boulevard and Springdale Road.
40 "Several juveniles" were suspected of breaking into a shop in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street through a skylight and stealing several items. It was reported around 4:30 p.m. Aug. 24.
