1 A caller reported that an older man was asking people for money at a Laundromat at 1415 Summit Avenue around 2:40 p.m. Sept. 23.
2 A caller in the 600 block of South Grandview Boulevard reported the theft of a Mitt Romney sign around 2:45 p.m. Sept. 23.
3 Two people suffered injuries during a two-car accident around 4:40 p.m. Sept. 23 near East Racine Avenue and South Highway 164.
4 An employee at a business at 2040 Bluemound Road reported, around 5:15 p.m. Sept. 23, "15 people physically fighting." A second caller reported "two females fighting in the arcade area."
5 A caller in the 1500 block of Irving Place reported "loud beeping coming from (a) house" across the street for several hours around 7:40 p.m. Sept. 23. Police responded and could not see anyone inside, found the windows open and smelled cat urine. Neighbors said they hadn't seen anyone at the house in two weeks.
6 A male who was "talking to himself about spiders and arguing with himself" was reported around 10:40 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 1600 block of Horizon Trail.
7 A caller reported that "she was almost struck by a vehicle that went through a school bus's red flashing lights and stop sign" around 8 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 200 block of Carroll Street.
8 A 7-year-old boy was reportedly "out of control" around 9:30 a.m. Sept. 24 at Hadfield Elementary School, 733 Linden St. School staff restrained him before his uncle came to take the boy home.
9 A caller reported seeing "her neighbor running away right after a rock came through her window" around 10 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 800 block of John Street.
10 A caller in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard reported around 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24 that "four different vehicles had wheels removed over the weekend."
11 A GPS, three pairs of sunglasses and a dual port charger were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of Elder Street over the weekend. It was reported around 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24.
12 A caller in the 1200 block of Sentry Drive reported around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24 that someone stole a catalytic converter from a van used for business over the weekend. "The caller "observed the exhaust pipes cut and the catalytic converter removed."
13 Two females were reportedly "standing outside their vehicles, beating each other up" on Prairie Song Drive north of Madison Street around 4:20 p.m. Sept. 24. Police responded and determined that the two were in a relationship with each other and one said "she wanted to cut all ties."
14 A Chevy and a school bus were reportedly involved in an accident around 5 p.m. Sept. 24 near Pearl Street and South Highway 164.
15 An ambulance was called for a 28-year-old woman having "diabetic problems" and driving the wrong way down a one-way street near Perkins Avenue and East Main Street around 6:50 p.m. Sept. 24.
16 A caller reported her friend, a man in his 80s with Alzheimer's, wanted to drive his car, which started an argument around 7:45 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 300 block of South Moreland Boulevard. The man's driver's license had been canceled and cut up, but "he (didn't) seem to understand or accept it."
17 A caller reported that a man "jumped out of a window and is lying on the ground" around 8:20 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 100 block of South East Avenue. The man told police that "he and his friend were sitting on a second-floor roof when he slipped." He said he was "fine."
18 The water utility was summoned after a vehicle severed a fire hydrant from its base around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 3600 block of Rivers Crossing Drive.
19 A man ran into a parked car in the 500 block of Grove Street around 8:40 p.m. Sept. 24.
20 Someone reportedly stole $200 from Gold's men's locker room at 831 W. Moreland Blvd. around 9 p.m. Sept. 24.
21 A caller reported "a couple having a domestic fight" and heard the woman yell "You ran over my foot" in the parking lot at 521 S. Grand Ave. around 11 p.m. Sept. 24. Police caught up with the couple, who left in separate cars, and they said they were having "a verbal argument" and the man accidentally ran over the woman's foot. There was no complaint.
22 A woman in the 500 block of East Avenue reported around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 that she believes her ex-husband, against whom she has an injunction, may have added her as a friend on Facebook, even though a different name and photos than her ex-husband's were used.
23 A caller reported that "someone threw a rock at her condo window and broke it" around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
24 A caller in the 2000 block of Sunkist Avenue reported around 5:20 p.m. Sept. 25 that her husband, who does not live there, "kicked (the) door in threw (the) TV and grabbed her arm."
25 An ambulance was called for a man in his 20s who sustained a "laceration to the head" during a fight involving five or six males and females, which may have stemmed from an attempted theft of a truck, around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 300 block of Dodie Drive.
26 Two homes in the 2000 block of Ruben Drive were reportedly burglarized around 12:45 p.m. Sept. 26. Police were looking for a "skinny" man in his 20s who reportedly "left on (a) bike with (a) backpack."
27 A black purse was found hanging in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Madera Street around 4:15 p.m. Sept. 26 and picked up by police.
28 Several screens on a home were "broken out" and two iPods valued at around $200 were reportedly stolen from a home in the 400 block of Hillview Circle. It was reported around 4 p.m. Sept. 26.
29 A caller in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive reported that someone came in through a sliding-glass door and took a TV and an Xbox. It was reported around 12:20 p.m. Sept. 27.
30 A man with a crossbow, "using it in a threatening manner," was reported around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 300 block of Newhall Avenue. A subject matching the man's description was interviewed, as well as bystanders who didn't know anything about a cross bow.
31 A domestic disturbance, possibly involving a knife, was reported around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue.
32 A woman on her work break in the 200 block of Mountain Avenue reported seeing a man "beating his dog" around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28. When she told him to stop, the male reportedly told her, "Obviously your husband doesn't beat you enough."
33 A man was tased after he fled following a traffic stop around 2 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 200 block of East Main Street.
