1 A vehicle in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive was reportedly entered during the night. A "backpack was also found in a neighbor's yard … that may be evidence." It was reported around 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20. Another vehicle in the same block was also broken into and a GPS and cellphone charger stolen.
2 A man called and said "he is being held against his will by subjects that are taking over the world" around 10:20 a.m. Oct 20, from the 200 block of North Racine Avenue.
3 A caller reported someone broke into his car "and tore apart his dashboard" around 11:45 a.m. Oct. 20 in the 1800 block of Manhattan Drive.
4 A man was reportedly "beating up (a) female in (a) parking lot" in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive around 12:15 p.m. Oct. 20. The woman ran into an apartment and the man chased her and tried to get in by kicking the door. The man was taken into custody.
5 A man reportedly "ripped a mirror off (his girlfriend's) car" during an argument around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 400 block of Sheffield Road.
6 Music from a Halloween party in a garage in the 1800 block of Mapleton Court reportedly could be heard a block away around 10 p.m. Oct. 20. The residents were "advised on excessive noise."
7 A residence in the 300 block of Jackson Court was cited by mail for excessive noise after complaints around 1:30 and 4 a.m. Oct. 21.
8 A caller in the 400 block of Debbie Drive reported around noon Oct. 21 that a neighbor "keep(s) throwing trash into the caller's yard."
9 A 71-year-old woman reportedly "fell anddislocated (her) knee and broke her leg" around 3:45 p.m. Oct. 21 on the second floor of a building in the 2100 block of Corporate Drive.
10 Police responded to a caller in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard who reported around 8 p.m. Oct. 21 that she "got on the wrong bus in Milwaukee and (was) lost and scared."
11 A male was reportedly "beating up a female in the middle of the road" around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 100 block of South Street. The two were talking in a vehicle when the woman mentioned her boyfriend and the man got angry.
12 Two callers reported a fight around 10:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 1900 block of Madera Street. One caller reported seeing a subject with a black handgun and another with a bat. A suspect was taken into custody.
13 An "elderly man in a walker, wearing shorts" was taken home by police after he said he was lost around 6 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 1500 block of Pine Street.
14 A man, who was reportedly intoxicated, "passed out in (a) silver Ford Contour (and was) having a seizure" around 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 2300 block of Kossow Road.
15 A caller driving near Fox River Parkway and Swallow Road reported around 9:15 p.m. Oct. 22 that someone in a passing vehicle threw eggs at her car. A similar complaint was made an hour earlier from a vehicle driving near Walton and College avenues.
16 A man was reportedly "slumped over in a wheelchair" near North West and Wisconsin avenues around 10 p.m. Oct. 22. The man told the caller "he was OK … (but that) his wheelchair wheel won't turn and he can't move." The caller later reportedly saw the man "walking down West Avenue."
17 A man, whose wife had divorced him and had a temporary restraining order against him, reportedly came to his wife's home in the 1800 block of East Racine Avenue with a gun and fired at police around 4:15 p.m. Oct. 23. See separate story on Page 7. 18 A caller in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue reported around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 that a "male was looking in her daughter's window." He reportedly ran after the caller yelled at him. The caller said a similar incident happened a week earlier.
19 Another vehicle was rear-ended by a semi around 8 a.m. Oct. 24 near West Moreland Boulevard and East North Street.
20 Two high school-aged boys were reportedly "huffing/snorting something" about 12:15 p.m. Oct. 24 in the 1900 block of Cascade Drive.
21 A caller in the 1300 block of Josephine Drive reported that a man in a black business suit came to her door and called her a derogatory name around 12:15 p.m. Oct. 24.
22 A white semi reportedly "took out the pedestrian push button pole" on the corner of West Moreland Boulevard and Delafield Street around 4 p.m. Oct. 24.
23 The windows of a Honda Accord in the 300 block of Dodie Drive were reportedly "shot with a bb-gun." It was reported around 4:45 p.m. Oct. 24.
24 A caller in the 500 block of North East Avenue reported "bedbugs, and hung up" when she was placed on hold around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24.
25 A caller in the 1800 block of Oakdale Drive reported that a teenage neighbor "exposed himself and possibly touched the caller's 4-year-old daughter." It was reported around 11 p.m. Oct. 24.
26 A resident in an apartment in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue was cited for a noise violation after a neighbor reported "loud music for the past two hours" around 1:15 a.m. Oct. 25. The noise "is an ongoing issue."
