Bachelor Nick Viall will compete in the upcoming season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, the obvious next step in his career as a software sales rep reality television star.

Producer Mike Fleiss confirmed the news Monday night on Twitter during episode 9, which featured another Bachelor Nation alum, Andi Dorfman, who went the tell-all route instead after her relationship with Josh Murray ended.

Nick is far from the first to go from ABC's reality dating show to dancing show -- and we're guessing he may be better on his feet than poor farmer Chris Soules -- but he's shaping up to be the most prolific in making a career out of the Bachelor Nation game. This season marks his fourth on the franchise; He started on Andi's season before crashing Kaitlyn Bristowe's, making a (not) so surprising appearance on the deliciously vapid summer version, Bachelor in Paradise, and eventually landing his own time as leading man for season 21.

However, he may lose his stigma as permanent bridesmaid (never the bride), after coming in as runner-up on both Andi and Kaitlyn's seasons. He'll be up against some serious competition from Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, who may quickly knock him out of the running, considering Biles' teammate Laurie Hernandez's domination last season.

The rest of the cast will be announced on Good Morning America Wednesday. And season 24 will premiere on March 20 (ABC, 8 ET/PT), one week after fans will learn if Nick finally found love during the Bachelor finale.
