Rose Syrup Margarita

The Rose Margarita uses homemade rose syrup, which is simple to make and adds a fresh touch to familiar cocktails.

This twist on a traditional margarita has a bright, light floral flavor. Reduce the amount of rose syrup for a less-sweet drink.

Makes 1 drink

  • Sugar for rim of glass
  • 1 ounce tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce rose syrup (see recipe)
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice

Rim margarita glass with sugar. Add tequila, triple sec, rose syrup and lime juice to a shaker with ice, shake vigorously for one minute and pour into rimmed glass.
