Bruce Springsteen fans learned a long time ago to pace themselves for the Boss' marathon shows.

You better believe Bruce Springsteen has staying power.

Good thing, too, because at 3 hours, 52 minutes, Thursday's hometown show in East Rutherford, N.J., was his longest concert ever on American soil, according to fan site Backstreets.com. His world record is 4 hours, 6 minutes, set in Helsinki, Finland, back in 2012.

Not too shabby for a guy who turns 67 in September.

The New Jersey show also marked the 41st anniversary of his third album 1975's Born to Run.

He capped the 33-song set with an onstage marriage proposal before he and the E Street Band ripped into Jersey Girl.

The Boss and Co. will play one more show at MetLife Stadium Tuesday before inching their way up north to wrap the River Tour in Boston on Sept. 14.
