Description by HAWS staff:
Floyd is a fun-loving boy, a hound mix who is almost 2 years old. This tall, lanky dog is in need of a very active family that will give him plenty of exercise. He does walk well with a harness on and enjoys the company of other dogs. However, he is not good with cats or small animals. He is very smart and willing to learn new things but because of his high energy he is not recommended for homes with small children. He would be a great couch potato once his energy is wore out.
Sassy is a 12-year-old Miki who arrived at HAWS after her owner died. She is a sweet little old lady looking for her retirement home. Sassy looks forward to spending time lying next to you or on your lap and receiving nice pets. She may even roll over for a belly rub. Based on her behavior at HAWS, she seems to be good with cats and is good with other dogs. If you are looking for a low-key dog, she is your gal!
