1 Police asked a man who was disturbing people at Frame Park, 1200 Whiterock Ave., to leave the area after the man began exhibiting belligerent behavior around 11:51 a.m. Aug. 8. According to a police report, the man was screaming at people near a pier in the park and telling them he was "fishing for snapping turtles." A park employee told police the man is a regular at the park and was having some sort of "episode," the report said.

2 Four windows on a car were broken while it was parked in the 800 block of Tenny Avenue prior to 2:55 p.m. Aug. 8. A police report did not indicate whether officers had any suspects or leads.

3 Several items were taken from a vehicle inside a garage in the 100 block of Dairy Avenue prior to 10:53 a.m. Aug. 9. No suspects or leads were mentioned in a police report.

4 Police arrested a man for reportedly throwing his wife down some stairs and hitting her in the chest during an argument around 10:57 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 200 block of Charles Street. According to a police report, the man's wife reported the incident. The report did not indicate whether the man had been cited or criminally charged.

5 Five drunk men were asked to leave the downtown area after police found them by a bridge in the 100 block of West St. Paul Avenue just north of the Fox River around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9. According to a police report, all five men "reeked of stale beer."

6 Police tracked a man to his apartment in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue and arrested him after he drove away from a traffic stop near South East and East College avenues and was possibly involved in a drug deal around 6:34 p.m. Aug. 9. A police report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

7 A man was injured and rushed to the hospital after he was reportedly hit by a car around 8:35 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 1100 block of West St. Paul Avenue. According to a police report, the man was bleeding from his head. No further details about the accident were included in an incident report.

8 Police gave a homeless man a ride to the Hope Center, 502 N. East Ave., after they found him, shirtless and shoeless, digging through trash along the riverwalk downtown around 11:14 a.m. Aug. 10.

9 A man was rushed to the hospital after emergency personnel found him lying on the ground and foaming at the mouth around 3:52 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 900 block of North Barstow Street. According to a police report, there was an open bottle of tequila next to the man, who was semi-alert, but no specific cause was listed for the issue.

10 An argument between a man and woman around 8:32 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 100 block of West Main Street reportedly ended when the man smashed the woman's windshield and was arrested shortly thereafter. A police report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged for the incident.

11 Fire department personnel transported a 26-year-old woman to Waukesha Memorial Hospital after the woman called 911 and said she was having a panic attack because she drank too much and wanted go to the hospital for detox. According to an incident report, the woman tried walking to the hospital around 2:07 a.m. Aug. 11 from the 300 block of West North Street but discovered she was too drunk to do so, then called police.

12 Police arrested a drunk man who fell asleep in the north parking lot near a valet parking station at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., around 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11. According to a police report, the man was originally described by a caller as "unresponsive."

13 An officer stopped to help a teenager on his way to football practice after a chain on the boy's bike fell off and had to be put back in place around 5:08 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 1800 block of Madison Street. According to a police report, the boy needed help with the chain and the officer provided it.

14 A woman told police she and her husband got into a physical fight around 5:38 p.m. Aug. 11 inside their shared home in the 300 block of Morey Street. A police report said the woman told officers her husband threw his keys at her, punched a hole in a wall and grabbed her cellphone out of her hand and threw it when she told him she was going to call police. Similar incidents have occurred since the couple began divorce proceedings, the report said, but it was unclear whether the man had ever been cited or criminally charged in connection with the disputes.

15 Police escorted two men out of an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Plaza Court after they reportedly stole a pizza delivered around 12:28 a.m. Aug. 12 to another tenant in the building. According to a police report, the men might have been drunk when they took the pizza. No formal complaint was made, but the men were asked to leave the building and did so without incident, the report said.

16 A man upset about the end of a relationship reportedly expressed his frustration by drawing graffiti on a local Cousin's Subs restaurant window, 2260 N. Grandview Blvd. A police report said employees reported the graffiti around 7:12 a.m. Aug. 12. A surveillance camera recorded the incident, the report said, and one of the employees identified the man in the video as her ex-boyfriend. Cousin's management did not want to make a formal complaint.

17 Officers had to remove a drunk man from Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., after he repeatedly pestered customers for a ride around 11:17 a.m. Aug. 12. The man was so drunk he could not stand up, according to the police report.

18 A man tried to avoid the rain by climbing inside a trash bin behind Family Video, 139 E. Broadway, around 11:36 a.m. Aug. 12. According to an incident report, employees at Marco's Pizza, which is next to Family Video, saw the man – who smelled like booze –  while throwing out some trash and called police. He said was sleeping in the trash bin to avoid getting wet and sent on his way.

19 A man apparently found his own way to the hospital after he crashed his car into a tree near Wolf Road and East Moreland Boulevard around 3:09 p.m. Aug. 13. According to a police report, a witness said the man got out of his car and into another one after the crash. It was unclear whether he was driving the second vehicle. Police later found the man in the emergency room, the report said.

20 A man reportedly took out his frustrations with a dog on random passersby around 5:53 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue. A police report said the man was swearing at people and "using obscene gestures" as they walked by. The man told officers his anger was triggered by a barking dog across the street, the report said.
