1 A passerby reported a car swerved into a ditch around 11:50 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 3000 block of North Grandview Boulevard. A police report did not indicate whether the driver of the vehicle was injured, but said he was walking after the crash. A cause for the accident was also unspecified, but could have been medical, the report said.
2 Police asked a man to move off the roadway after a caller reported he was approaching moving vehicles around 12:19 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 200 block of Madison Street and handing out flyers. According to a police report, the man was trying to solicit donations. He was advised not to do so in traffic, the report said.
3 An intoxicated man had to be rushed to the hospital after he fell multiple times and injured himself while riding his bike around 7:15 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1400 block of East Main Street. According to a police report, some kids saw the man fall and waited with him until police arrived. The report said the man was "highly" intoxicated.
4 Police responded to a report of a possible break-in around 12:39 a.m. Aug. 20 at Discfunktion, 910 W. Sunset Drive. According to a police report, the front door and a side window were smashed, but no one was found inside the store. The report did not indicate whether any arrests were made.
5 Police spoke to an approximately 50-year-old man after he reportedly asked a 13-year-old girl a series of personal questions she found "uncomfortable" while both were at or near the Waukesha Farmers Market around 11:44 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 900 block of North Barstow Street. A police report said the man was not engaged in any criminal activity but was advised of his "unusual" behavior.
6 Officers responded to reports of a fight around 12:24 a.m. Aug. 21 on the third floor of an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Plaza Court. Callers were unsure about the number of people involved and whether any weapons were used, a police report said, but observed damage to the hallway. At least one arrest was made related to the incident, the report said.
7 A man apparently drove himself to the hospital after he sustained "substantial" injuries when he was punched in the face by an unidentified person at Bosco's Social Club, 260 W. Main St., around 1 a.m. Aug. 21. A police report did not identify the assailant, but said he was removed from the bar immediately after punching the victim.
8 Police found a 90-year-old man dead at his home around 6 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 1500 block of Erin Lane. According to a police report, there was nothing suspicious or unusual about the man's death.
9 A man reportedly exposed his genitals to a woman while she was leaving her apartment building around 1:50 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 400 block of North East Avenue. A police report indicated officers arrested someone related to the incident, but didn't specify who it was or whether the person was cited or criminally charged.
10 A woman called police to report what she claimed was illegal activity between one of her friends and a man at their apartment complex around 5:29 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 1200 block of Grandview Boulevard. The woman told police she only told them about the incident because she was mad at her friend for "shorting her" some money the friend owed her, according to a police report. The woman was advised not to use the police department as revenge for a broken friendship, the report said.
11 A woman was rushed to the hospital after police found her unresponsive, slumped over and foaming at the mouth insider her car around 4:24 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 2500 block of Grandview Boulevard. A police report said the woman under the influence of drugs, but she denied using any and said she only pulled her car over because she was tired. Officers found nothing when they searched her car, the report said.
12 A woman came to the police station, 1901 Delafield St., to report that she received a strange text message with a link to nude photos around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22. According to a police report, the messages contained a hyperlink to "afterschoolapp/waukshanorthhigh.com," and clicking the link led to a website with the naked photos. The report said the message appeared to be a scam.
13 A man told police he would install the "biggest (Donald) Trump sign the city would allow" and install cameras to monitor it after two other Trump signs were taken from his lawn in the 1800 block of Oakdale Drive. He reported the missing signs to police around 8:33 a.m. Aug. 23.
14 A woman in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road called police around 9:53 a.m. Aug. 24 because she was reportedly worried an unidentified man had stolen some of her personal belongings while "tripping on acid" and told her he was going to make a voodoo doll of her and burn it.
15 Two teenage girls apparently tried to swindle Waukesha Public Library employees into giving them money one too many times because the girls were kicked out of the library, 321 W. Wisconsin Ave., around 3:31 p.m. Aug. 24. The girls had tried to get cash from a front desk worker by saying they put money into a vending machine in the library's lobby but didn't receive the items they paid for. A police report said the girls had to leave the library for the day but were welcome to return later.
16 Police arrested a man they found passed out with a bottle of alcohol next to him on the porch of a home in the 300 block of Wisconsin Ave around 7:04 p.m. Aug. 24.
17 One man was arrested following a fight around 12:20 a.m. Aug. 25 at Fox Run Lanes, 2440 W. Sunset Drive. A police report did not specify was sparked the fight but did indicate that one man was injured and the other refused to leave. That man was arrested, though it wasn't immediately clear whether he was cited or criminally charged.
18 An anonymous caller reported a gun was stolen for a vehicle around 12:10 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 2800 block of Rolling View Drive. A police report did not specify what type of gun was taken or whether police had any suspects or leads.
19 Police arrested a 17-year-old boy around 3:26 p.m. Aug. 25 after the boy was reportedly involved in a physical fight with his brother and threw a skateboard through a window on his house in the 800 block of Beechwood Avenue. No criminal charges have been filed against the boy, according to online court records.
20 A man was injured after he fell off his bike while trying to brake for a truck that nearly hit him around 5:56 p.m. Aug. 25 near Cutler Street and North Grand Avenue. According to an incident report, a man driving a truck made a left turn onto Cutler and nearly hit the biker, who might have been blocked from sight by a large utility pole. The biker was not seriously injured, but suffered some head, knee and shoulder pain. Police gave him, and his bike, a ride home.
