1 An anonymous caller reported a man was suspiciously "hiding" in some bushes near the Waukesha County Museum, 101 W. Main St., around 11:55 p.m. Aug. 25. A police report said officers spoke to the man who said he was sleeping in the grass. The man told police he is homeless and was drunk at the time, the report said.

2 A man was rushed to the hospital after police found him possibly injured and lying face down in a driveway around 2:13 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 100 block of Randall Street. According to an incident report, the man, who was described as "highly intoxicated," had been walking home when he collapsed.

3 A woman reportedly caused some flooding in the homes of residents living below her after she broke her toilet by falling into it while attempting to use the bathroom around 6:07 a.m. Aug. 26 at an apartment complex in the 800 block of North East Avenue. A police report said the back half of the toilet broke off and "caused water to flow uncontrollably" down multiple floors of the building. The woman who fell was disabled, the report said, but she and her live-in boyfriend apparently did nothing to halt the water flow. They were watching TV, as the water level rose, when police arrived, the report said.

4 An anonymous caller told police another driver threatened them with a handgun after the caller reportedly "flipped off" the driver for swerving between lanes around 11:47 a.m. Aug. 26 on Sunset Drive near Highway 59 and Center Road. The driver pointed the gun at the caller after the caller pulled their car alongside the other driver's and made a crude hand gesture, a police report said. The report did not indicate whether police found the driver, but said the car he was driving was stolen.

5 A manager at a group home in the 400 block of South Prairie Avenue has been suspended for mishandling residents' money following an internal investigation by the organization, a police report said. The thefts were reported to police around 12:14 p.m. Aug. 26. The report didn't indicate whether the manager would be facing criminal charges.

6 A man was hit by a truck but sustained only minor injuries while rollerblading in the 1500 block of South West Avenue around 1:37 p.m. Aug. 26. According to a police report, the driver of the truck, described as a 60-year-old man, sped away after the accident. The driver was pulling out of a parking lot when he hit the man, the report said.

7 A woman apparently mistakenly thought that a hat and a fur coat hanging on a rack was a stranger in her home in the 1900 block of Sunnyside Drive and, as a result, reported a break-in around 6:40 p.m. Aug. 26. When police arrived they found no evidence of forced entry and none of the woman's property was missing, a police report said. Officers observed the hat and coat and the woman later confirmed those were the items she initially confused as a possible burglar.

8 Officers responded to reports of a 34-year-old man destroying various items inside a behavioral home on the 1400 block of Delafield Street around 7:47 p.m. Aug. 26. According to an incident report, the man was locked inside the home per employee policy but tried to break out by smashing through the front door. The report did not indicate whether the man was arrested or if he was cited or criminally charged.

9 A woman who was feeling faint after a dialysis treatment struck a couple of trees while driving home around 6 a.m. Aug. 27 near Freeman Street and South West Avenue. The woman wasn't injured and none of the trees were blocking the roadway, a police report said. The woman's son picked her up and took her to the hospital following the accident.

10 Police took a 60-year-old intoxicated man home after he was seen by a caller repeatedly falling down while trying to walk around 5:38 p.m. Aug. 27 near East Moreland Boulevard and Springdale Road. A police report said the man eventually laid down in a grassy area in front of a nearby hotel. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.277.

11 Police responded to reports of a shoving match in the lobby at the Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road, around 1:04 a.m. Aug. 28. According to a police report, one of the two men involved left when officers arrived and the other was asked to leave by Country Springs management.

12 A man was arrested after he was involved in a verbal and physical fight with his wife while they were inside his car parked outside the former Gasthaus restaurant, 2720 N. Grandview Boulevard, around 3:26 p.m. Aug. 28. A police report didn't specify whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

13 A 19-year-old man was arrested after he reportedly destroyed his girlfriend's computer, then sent her pictures of it, which she reported to police around 4:18 p.m. Aug. 28 near her apartment in the 300 block of Coolidge Avenue. According to an incident report, before he was taken into custody, the man sent his girlfriend more messages promising to break more things.

14 A woman suffered a head injury in a two-car accident around 5:05 p.m. Aug. 28 near East Broadway Street and North East Avenue. A police report did not specify the nature or severity of the woman's injuries but said her car had to be towed.

15 Police spoke with a girl they found atop the South Street parking ramp, 241 South St., around 9:18 p.m. Aug. 28 and escorted her home after she told them she had been feeling suicidal earlier in the day. Officers walked her home, a police report said, and told her mother, who was unaware the girl had left their home, about the incident.

16 A woman was arrested for intoxicated driving around 10:34 p.m. Aug. 28 near East Moreland Boulevard and Delafield Street. According to a police report, her car swerved across the road and almost hit a curb at one point. The report did not specify whether the woman was cited or criminally charged.

17 Police reportedly had to subdue a driver with a Taser after they responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident around 1:02 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 400 block of West Dunbar Avenue. A police report said the driver crashed his truck into a retaining wall and might have been injured. The report didn't specify why officers needed to use a Taser to subdue the man, or whether he was criminally charged.

18 A man apparently injured himself when he got angry while trying to buy cigarettes around 5:07 a.m. Aug. 30 at a local Walgreens pharmacy, 221 E. Sunset Drive. According to a police report, the man shattered a jar of pennies he brought into Walgreens to pay for a pack of smokes and cut himself on glass from the broken jar. Police were couldn't find the man, and Walgreens management didn't make a formal complaint, the report said.

19 Police arrested a homeless man who might have been carrying a gun after members of a church where the man was seen reported the man for suspicious behavior around 10:53 a.m. Aug. 30. A pastor at Salem United Methodist Church, 541 Highway 59, told police he thought he saw a gun in the homeless man's waistband and asked for the man to be removed. Officers arrested the man, but a police report did not indicate whether he was carrying a gun. No one was injured in the incident.

20 A 22-year-old pregnant woman was rushed to the hospital following her involvement in a three-car accident around 5:51 p.m. Aug. 30 near Blackhawk Trail and Highway 164. A police report said the woman was having "abdominal pains" following the crash and requested an ambulance. No other injuries were mentioned in the report, but at least two of the cars involved had to be towed.
