1 Police found an unoccupied car unlocked and running but could not immediately identify its owner around 12:21 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 400 block of South Grandview Boulevard. An incident report said multiple attempts to reach the cars owner were unsuccessful. Police turned off the car and inventoried the keys for safekeeping.

2 An anonymous resident reported that someone had drawn male genitalia and a swastika on their car around 8:38 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 700 block of Cheyenne Drive. No suspects or leads were mentioned in a police report.

3 A two-car accident nearly resulted in injuries to a young child when a driver crashed his car into an open door on another vehicle around 4:40 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 600 block of North West Avenue. According to a police report, a man had opened the door to put his child into the car when it was struck; no injuries to the child were reported.

4 A woman was injured while trying to break up a fight between two men around 5:02 p.m. Sept. 29 in 1500 block of Camden Court. A police report said the woman was bruised but not seriously injured. One of the men in the fight reportedly had a baseball bat.

5 An anonymous caller told police they thought a neighbor was "cooking meth" in his apartment due to a "noxious odor" apparently emanating from the man's room around 5:25 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 700 block of East North Street. When police arrived they noticed a "musty" odor in the hallway, not a toxic one, an incident report said. The man wasn't home, but the landlord said the man has to move out of the complex by Nov. 1.

6 A woman reported that a $230 kayak was stolen from her yard around 5:58 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 200 block of Hoover Avenue. A police report did not mention whether officers had any suspects or leads in the case.

7 Two women reportedly got into a fight at a Waukesha South High School soccer game and one slapped the other around 7:13 p.m. Sept. 29 at the school, 401 E. Roberta Ave. According to a police report, one woman said something to other that sparked the fight. No serious injuries were reported.

8 A female Walmart employee was rushed to the hospital after co-workers told emergency personnel that she had slit her wrists in a break room at the store, 2000 S. West Ave., around 3:53 p.m. Sept. 30. According to an incident report, co-workers applied pressure to the wounds before help arrived.

9 Police arrested a man for drunken driving after a caller reported the man was hitting construction barricades with his truck around 5:05 p.m. Sept. 30 near East Moreland Boulevard and Highway 164. Officers found the man in a parking lot near there with a construction barrel stuck under the car and arrested him, a police report said. The report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

10 A small group of protesters gathered outside Bosco's Social Club, 260 W. Main St., and upset some Friday Night Live attendees by using a bullhorn to warn against drinking and "preach about God" around 8:49 p.m. Sept. 30. According to a police report, none of the protesters were doing anything illegal – or used the bullhorn – when police arrived.

11 Police arrested a man after he reportedly told a woman he was "going to take her head off" and "blast her" during an argument around 10:46 p.m. Sept. 30 at an apartment in the 2100 block of MacArthur Road. A police report did not specify what the argument was about.

12 An anonymous caller reported several people doing "beer bongs" in the street and smashing beer cans after yelling "shotgun" around 1:01 a.m. Oct. 1 outside a home in the 300 block of Douglass Avenue. No illegal activity was observed, but police advised the group to take their party inside to avoid further complaints, an incident report said.

13 A driver crashed their car into a street light and knocked it into the road around 2:20 a.m. Oct. 1 near Interstate 94 and North Grandview Boulevard. According to a police report, the driver fled after colliding with the light. It was not clear whether police tracked down the vehicle.

14 Police cited a 40-year-old man for loitering after he passed out in a parking lot from drinking too much around 9:37 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 400 block of West Main Street. An incident report said police called an ambulance for the man, but didn't specify how or if the man was injured.

15 An anonymous caller reported seeing a man defecating in public around 7:45 a.m. Oct. 2 in the 1500 block of Bel-ayr Drive. According to a police report, officers were unable to immediately find the suspect.

16 Police told an intoxicated man to go home after they found him sleeping under Bryant Bridge around 2:24 p.m. Oct. 2 near Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street. A police report said an anonymous caller spotted the man and asked police to check on him.

17 Employees at McDonald's, 1425 S. West Ave., reportedly got into a fight with some intoxicated customers who came into the restaurant and tried to get free food around 8:13 p.m. Oct. 2. A McDonald's manager told police when they arrived that the customers had left on foot. The manager did not wish to make a formal complaint, a police report said.

18 An unidentified caller told police a man walked in on his girlfriend while she was using the bathroom and watched her around 2:14 a.m. Oct. 3 at an apartment in the 400 block of West Main Street. According to a police report, the caller confronted the man about it soon after and was slapped twice in the face. The report did not specify whether the man was cited or criminally charged for his actions.

19 A woman told police her husband beat her up and pulled a knife on her around 10:02 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 200 block of South Grand Avenue. A police report did not specify whether officers found the man or if he was criminally charged.

20 Police caught a man who tried to steal a 30-pack of beer from Discount Liquor, 919 N. Barstow St., and returned the beer around 8:28 a.m. Oct. 4. The man apparently tried to walk away with the beer, but was caught in a public parking lot off Clinton Street behind Magellan's.
