A lockdown at the UW-Waukesha campus Thursday afternoon has been lifted.

According to a news release from the Waukesha Police Department, police responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Sunkist Avenue for a well-being check of a suicidal person at 3:08 p.m. Thursday.

Due to the close proximity of the residence to the UW-Waukesha campus, 1500 N. University Drive, the school was placed on a precautionary lockdown, police said.

Police said in the release the incident has been resolved with no injuries to anyone.

Normal activities in the area resumed after police lifted the lockdown.
