1 A resident in the 1000 block of Delafield Street told police her neighbors were harassing her in strange, improbable ways around 11:17 p.m. Dec. 27. According to a police report, the woman said her neighbors were "changing the temperature of the water in her bathroom" and "talking about her when she wasn't around." The caller did not explain in the report how she knew these things.
2 Two men shattered a glass door in the lobby of an apartment complex while fighting each other around 2 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard. A police report said one of the men knew his attacker but refused to identify or file a complaint against him. He also offered to pay for a replacement door, the report said.
3 A woman told police there was a prostitution ring running out of the Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road, around 12:34 p.m. Dec. 28. According to a police report, the woman said she "discovered" the ring on Christmas Eve and report what she considered to be "suspicious" behavior to hotel management.
4 Emergency personnel rushed a man to the hospital after they found him around 8:50 p.m. Dec. 28 wandering with a cut near his eye and without shoes near Greenbush and East Main streets. An anonymous caller told police that the man, a stranger, had walked through their house and they were concerned about him.
5 A Canadian National Railways employee told police a man was playing "chicken" with a number of passing trains around 9:04 p.m. Dec. 28 on the tracks near White Rock Avenue and East Main Street. According to a police report, the man was laying down on the tracks as trains approached and would stand and move out of the way as the trains moved closer.
6 A man tried to pass off a counterfeit $100 bill at the drive-thru at McDonald's, 1425 S. West Ave., around 12:43 a.m. Dec. 29. Police arrested the man after restaurant staff reported the incident, an incident report said.
7 Police removed a man who drank cooking wine then locked himself in the bathroom at Woodman's, 1600 E. Main St., around 5:53 a.m. Dec. 29. According to a police report, officers have removed the man more than once from the store in the past. He was advised not to trespass there again, the report said.
8 A resident in the 200 block of West Main Street received a jostling wake-up call around 6:06 a.m. Dec. 29 when their neighbor began blasting heavy metal music. A police report said the volume of the music was "very excessive" when officers arrived, and officers warned the man he would be cited if another noise complaint is made against him.
9 An anonymous caller told police a man was walking down the street with his pants down and his genitals exposed around 10:05 a.m. Dec. 29 near Oakdale and West Sunset drives. According to a police report, "nothing private was seen" when officers found the man about 25 minutes later.
10 A resident in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road told police he believes his stepdaughter stole about 40 Adderall pills from him when she was home alone around 11:53 a.m. Dec. 29.

11 A man suffered injuries after he crashed his truck into a tree and caused significant damage to a nearby garage as a result around 6:18 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 1700 block of Blackhawk Trial. A police report said officers found the man a short distance from the truck; he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The report didn't specify whether the man was cited or criminally charged.
12 Police arrested a man who smashed his neighbor's window with a shovel around 1 p.m. Dec. 30 at an apartment complex in the 600 block of East North Street. A police report did not specify a possible motive for the vandalism.

15 A caller told police he saw a man injecting himself with heroin inside a bathroom at PDQ, 2302 E. Moreland Blvd., around 12:38 a.m. Dec. 31. According to a police report, the caller found needles in the bathroom after the man left. He was gone by the time police arrived, the report said.
16 Police spotted a man urinating in Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave., around 1:28 a.m. Dec. 31. Officers did not cite the man, according to an incident report, but advised him on his behavior and informed him he was in violation of park hours.
17 Expired dog medication was stolen from a car around 8 a.m. Dec. 31 in the 200 block of North Porter Avenue. A police report said nothing else was missing from the car, but did not provide a possible explanation as to why the medication was stolen. No suspects or leads were mentioned in the report.
18 A man drew a large police response for naught after a friend told officers the man posted suicidal messages on his Facebook account around 8:50 p.m. Dec. 31. According to a police report, the man said in the post that New Year's Eve was going to be "his last day" and 2016 "his last year." He also said he had a gun and large knife, the report said. When officers responded to the man's home in the 900 block of Blackstone Avenue, he told them he was "just messing around."
19 Police made at least two arrests after they were called to respond to a fight that left one man seriously injured around 3:38 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 2700 block of North University Drive. A police report said two men beat up a third and left him lying on the ground, bleeding, and fled before officers arrived. The report didn't specify whether any citations were issued or criminal charges filed.
20 The new year started in somewhat embarrassing fashion for one man who apparently drank too much, couldn't find a ride home, then urinated on himself while discussing his situation with police around 5:37 a.m. Jan. 1 near NW Barstow and East North streets. According to a police report, the man told officers he didn't have any money for a cab, and was advised.
