Dunlap, 31, was booked in the Metro jail early Friday morning in connection to a reported domestic disturbance involving his girlfriend at her Hermitage home.

According to an arrest warrant, just after 9 p.m. Thursday, Metro Nashville Police Department officers were dispatched to a home in the 3000 block of Cooks Landing Ct. on a domestic disturbance call between Dunlap and his girlfriend.

Officers verified that an order of protection was in place that did not allow contact between Dunlap and the woman, the warrant continues.

When officers arrived, police say Dunlap was inside the home with the woman and admitted he had received a copy of the order of protection.

Dunlap is free on $1,000 bond and due in Davidson County court for a hearing on the matter early next month.

Dunlap, a 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive lineman has played eight seasons in the NFL, the past four for the Chargers.

He's played 98 games, starting 65, since he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008. The eighth-year pro played at Brentwood Academy and Auburn before being drafted by the Eagles.

Dunlap signed with the Chargers in 2013 and agreed to a four-year, $28 million contract last offseason. He started all 12 games he appeared in last season.
