1 A man found some bones he thought might be human around 3:54 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 1100 block of Whiterock Avenue. A police report said officers determined the bones – an animal's rib cage – belonged to a deer.

2 A woman told police she thought one of her neighbors was stealing her underwear from a laundry facility inside an apartment complex around 8:01 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 2000 block of Kensington Drive. According to a police report, officers spoke with the neighbor, who denied taking the woman's "panties." No other suspects were mentioned in the report.

3 Police gave an intoxicated man a ride back to his apartment after an officer found him lying on the sidewalk around 11:24 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 300 block of West Main Street. The man was transported without any problems, a police report said.

4 Someone broke into an auto repair shop and drove off with a vehicle in line to be serviced around 7:47 a.m. Feb. 20 in the 300 block of Delafield Street. According to a police report, nothing else from the business was missing. The report said the vehicle belonged to a customer with an outstanding repair order.

5 At least one woman was injured and her 2-year-old child was shaken up in a two-car accident around 10:37 a.m. Feb. 20 in the 2400 block of Kossow Road. A police report said the woman suffered a neck injury and her child vomited after the crash. The report did not indicate whether any citations or criminal charges were issued.

6 A teenage boy reportedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl in December just outside city limits on Wolf Road. The girl told police around 1:01 p.m. Feb. 20 she was too scared to tell the boy to stop during the incident, a police report said. The incident was also reported at Waukesha South High School, according to the report.

7 A woman told police she saw someone steal a package off the front porch of a house then drive away around 10:52 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 1000 block of Baxter Street. A police report said officers made an arrest in connection with the incident, but did not indicate whether the suspect – who was possibly linked to other similar thefts in the area – was cited or criminally charged in the incident.

8 Traffic had to be rerouted following a two-car rollover crash that resulted in injuries around 2:47 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 300 block of North East Avenue. Details about the injury or injuries were not included in the report, but the accident was severe enough for police to block traffic near the scene for about a half hour.

9 Police broke up a fight that apparently erupted for no reason between three men around 9:34 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 300 block of West Main Street. According to a police report, all the men were intoxicated and said they "got into a verbal altercation for an unknown reason." None of them were injured, and police advised them to move along.

10 A woman told police someone she thought was a 12-year-old boy sent her nude pictures around 3:48 p.m. Feb. 22 while she was at her home in the 1100 block of Grant Street. A police report said the woman is a school psychologist and her father works for the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. She spoke to police about the incident, the report said, but no additional information was available.

11 An anonymous caller told police five people were smoking marijuana at a corner bus stop around 6:10 p.m. Feb. 22 near Brook Street and East St. Paul Avenue. However, when officers arrived, a police report said they discovered that the suspects were merely smoking hand-rolled cigarettes that resembled the type used to smoke marijuana. They were advised of the call, the report said.

12 Police removed a homeless man from McDonald's, 1425 S. West Ave., after a manager there told them the man followed her into the bathroom and began ranting after she asked him to stay away from her around 11:52 p.m. Feb. 22. Officers told the man he is no longer welcome at the restaurant, but the manager did not file a formal complaint.

13 Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery that led to a foot chase with a suspect around 1:26 a.m. Feb. 23 near Jefferson Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard. According to a criminal report, a woman reported an attempted break-in at her home in the 1900 block of Highland Drive, and officers engaged in a foot chase, but no one was apprehended.

14 A man was banned from the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., for a year after staff there reported to police that he stole several magazines around 2:13 p.m. Feb. 23. The library recovered the property and did not wish to file a formal complaint against the man, a police report said, but told him he was not welcome to return for a year.

15 An anonymous caller told police they saw a man masturbating by a treeline in broad daylight around 4:24 p.m. Feb. 23 near Marshall Street and North Prairie Avenue. According to a police report, officers spoke with the man, who denied publicly masturbating. He was advised and moved along, the report said.

16 An unidentified man reportedly showed two younger girls a pornographic website on his phone while all three were inside McDonald's, 1425 S. West Ave., around 4:48 p.m. Feb. 23. A police report said that the man asked the girls to look at his phone under the guise of helping him with it in some way. The girls left before police arrived, the report said.

17 A truck rolled over but its driver was not injured around 7:28 p.m. Feb. 23 near Jasper Lane and North Grandview Boulevard. A possible cause for the accident was not specified in a police report.

18 Firefighters extinguished a porch fire, apparently ignited by a lightning strike, around 2:08 a.m. Feb. 24 at a home in the 1700 block of Rockridge Way. A police report said the fire did not spread into the home, and firefighters had the blaze under control is about 15 minutes. No one was injured.

19 Police arrested an intoxicated driver shortly after an anonymous caller called police around 7:14 p.m. Feb. 24 in the 2100 block of South West Avenue. The man was arrested, booked and released to a responsible party, a police report said.

20 A man backed his car out of his closed garage, smashing through the garage door and damaging the car in the process, around 6:18 a.m. Feb. 25 in the 1100 block of Arbor Drive. According to a police report, the man has been diagnosed with dementia and was not supposed to be driving, but got behind the wheel after having a "vivid" and frightening dream.
