1 Officers caught a man removing scrap from a trash bin near Firehouse Subs, 220 E. Sunset Drive, around 9:24 a.m. March 19. According to a police report, the man did not have the restaurant's permission to do so and was moved along after he put the items back into the trash.

2 Police arrested a man who fell asleep in his car, which was running, with a marijuana pipe in his hand around 12:49 p.m. March 19 in the parking lot of Woodman's, 1600 E. Main St. An incident report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

3 An intoxicated man was seen crawling on his hands and knees, possibly toward his nearby home, outside Sobelman's, 332 Williams St. around 3:45 p.m. March 19. According to a police report, one of the restaurant's owners called in the incident. Police moved the man along, the report said.

4 Two men were so drunk they could not order food from the drive-thru at Taco Bell, 405 W. Sunset Drive, around 11:24 p.m. March 19. A police report said one of the restaurant's employees called in the incident. The men were gone by the time officers arrived.

5 Someone broke into a municipal garage in the 300 block of Sentry Drive and stole copper wire out of a shed around 4:01 p.m. March 20. No suspects or leads were mentioned in a police report.

6  After a foot chase, police arrested a man who broke into a vacant storefront in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue around 7:44 p.m. March 20. According to a police report, the man did not steal anything from the property and was subdued with a Taser.

7 A man was shouting out his phone number to women and asking them to get in his car while driving near the Women's Center, 505 N. East Ave., around 8:27 p.m. March 21. A police report said he was gone by the time officers arrived.

8 A woman told police her son's father choked, punched and threatened to kill her around 10:01 p.m. March 21 in the 1800 block of Meadow Lane. Officers arrested the man, according to a police report, but it did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

9 A teenage girl told police a "creepy" man in a car with heavily tinted windows followed and parked near her as she walked along the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue after she missed a bus around 9:49 a.m. March 22. According to a police report, the car drove away when the girl ran back to the city's Metro Transit Center.

10 A new TV was taken while a man was moving other items into his apartment around 10:14 p.m. March 22 in the 1800 block of Kensington Drive. A police report said the man left the TV outside while he carried other things into his home. It was gone when he returned to collect it. No suspects or leads were mentioned in the report.

11 An anonymous caller reported that a family living in the 200 block of Greendmeadow Drive had submitted several fraudulent doctor's notes to excuse absences, presumably for their child or children, around 12:44 p.m. March 23. A police report did not specify whether the notes had been used to excuse school absences.

12 A man who is banned from Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., reportedly asked a female employee for her address and two hugs, then told her he would wait outside the store for her to finish her shift around 4:43 p.m. March 23. According to a police report, the man tried to fondle the woman during the second hug and told her "'pretty girls" live near her address. Walmart management asked police to document the incident, but did not file a formal complaint.

13 Police caught and advised, but did not cite, a group of Carroll University students who unsuccessfully tried to steal a railroad sign around 1:13 a.m. March 24 in the 300 block of Sentry Drive. According to a police report, the students did not even damage any railroad signs in the area.

14 Police arrested a man for a narcotics violation after an anonymous caller reported seeing the man "huffing" in his car around 11:57 a.m. March 24 in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road. A police report did not specify whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

15 An extremely intoxicated man, who reportedly could not stand without supporting himself, walked into New China Express, 310 W. St. Paul Ave., and asked for a drink around 2:28 p.m. March 24. Staff at the restaurant told him they only had coffee and asked him to take a seat, but he left, according to a police report. Officers found him at another nearby restaurant and gave him a ride home, the report said.

16 A school bus carrying children struck a parked postal vehicle  near Garfield and Estberg avenues around 3:14 p.m March 24. An incident report said no one was injured in the crash.

17 Police broke up an underage party in the 400 block of East Broadway Street around 10:30 p.m. March 24 after an anonymous caller reported loud music coming from the resident and several people outside. According to a police report, at least three dozen students were dispersed from the party. No citations were issued.

18 At least one person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash that also involved a light pole around 7:42 p.m. March 25 near East Racine Avenue and Highway 164. A police report said both cars were towed, but did not specify the nature or severity of the injuries.

19 Police advised a group of people after an anonymous neighbor reported that several members of the group were drunk and loud around 2:01 a.m. March 25 inside an apartment in the 100 block of West North Street. According to a police report, a half-naked woman ended up in a hallway inside the apartment building at some point. Officers mediated the situation, the report said, and the group agreed to go to bed.

20 Police used a Taser to subdue a man who a caller said was trying to break into her home around 5:46 a.m. March 25 in the 900 block of East Roberta Avenue. A police report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.
